U-S to use Sim Characters for War

Sims
The U.S. military will use about a dozen programs to create Sim Afghanistans and Sim Iraqis where they can test their war plans.

Too bad George W. didn’t think to play war with fake, virtual people…

  1. President Obama’s reply was “uh…, um,..uh uh uh…um. uhuh…uh..uh..uh..

I find this fucking Halarious Because Bush is the most Stupid guy in the World….. He made the No Child left Behind program which made america the dumbest country in the fucking world what a way for him to go down in history…. I should’nt Hate on a Fellow Texan but he is a Disgrace…

  4. if they know tendencies enough to program what they do, then whats the point of simulating it all?

  5. I know what’s more useful! We could have the military research Nostradamus until we could know what would happen in the future so that we can prevent it!

    Oh wait… that’s also a waste of time…

  6. HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY……I DON’T GET HOW THAT WORKS……..!!!!!!!!!!……………..K

  7. and then they release it to the kids as a game, and the kids are really controlling robots. and Robin Williams ruins everything.

  8. Ummm…….o.k.

  9. That seems….pointless.

  10. cocaine is a hell of a drug!!!

  11. buahahaha

  12. To bad Obama could not have run his “porkulius package” instead of wasting close to a trillion dollars of our taxes. Perhaps he will run his Nationalized health care to see how that effects everyone… Or when the Catholic Hospitals close their doors due to Obama’s stating they must give abortions, or what taxing the rich (anyone over 250k a year) will do to this country..

I can think of a few more ways to run this program other than just a virtual war.

  13. That…..sounds kinda dumb. :/

    that’s gay

  15. Maybe they could simulate Sadam still being in power right now, still trying to acquire nukes, chemical weapons, gassing his own people, invading other countries, firing missles at israel, terrorizing his citizens, and ruling with an iron fist.

We could at least simulate what a wonderful world it could have been in Iraq.

  16. OMG that sounds so stupid…wtf Obama, this is something Bush would approve hahaha

  17. I think they’re Afghans.

  18. Hahahahaha!
    Woooow.

  19. i sense sumthing really bad about this, it has somthing to do wit spying.

    Dumbasses! :P

  21. ahh cool .. fighting war with chicks and pillow fights !!!… i support this war effort .. USA USA USA USA !!!!! …..:)

  22. Virtualinization can certainly helpify with the strategery of battalion conflicterizing.

  23. W didn’t think period

  24. how is this going to helps us! so we wont kill the worng people like lil kids and people families and piss every one off! bc we using a virtual Sim program is going to help with us!

  25. Maybe they should buy some Iraqis some Xbox360’s and CoD4 instead. I think it might be cheaper and same results!

  26. Will there be a sim Bin Laden that pokes his head out of a cave every year like Groundhog’s day to see his shadow and proclaim death to America.

  27. This sounds like a virtual and actual waste of tax payer money.

Wow this is great. USA USA USA……USA……………USA oh. Do you think they will make a home version of this for us to blow away Terorists too?

    • BTW, it’s not like Obama is going to play virtual war. Were going to be in iraq till 2011. I thought we were meant to be out late 2009. So I say WTF, Obama?

      • To clarify I was defending Bush, and saying Obama won’t end the war either. I support the troops. My father was in the british army and is active duty us navy.

      • The people who thought if Obama was elected there would be no more “war” (as if that were even possible) are in for a reality check; and we’ll still be there after 2011.

  29. It would be hilarious if they made the programs but kept the Sim’s voices in it.

  30. All they have to do is build a giant pool, wait until the enemy combatants go swimming, and then get rid of the pool ladders. PROBLEM SOLVED.

  31. Interesting idea and tech and money and life saving, win win :)

  32. wooot, i;m all for the afgan pillow fights

  33. What’s wrong with people? Don’t they realize that ‘virtual sex with a virtual girlfriend’ beats ‘virtual war’ any day?
But if they are going to try this out, they should at least use the “all weapons” cheat code.

  34. How does that even work?

  35. US Military will do anything these days it seems.

  36. That’s smart as long as they don’t get the W.O.P.R. to play global thermonuclear war.

  37. Wow, for once I’m the first to comment……but for once I have nothing to say about that news…..so I’ll just say, “Hey, that’s a good thing”. Blowing up sims is much safer. You know what would be the best thing….not to blow up stuff to begin with.
