Will Ferrell to join “Man vs Wild”
Bear Grylls is bringing an actor with him into the wild to teach him real-life survival tips. And that actor is WILL FERRELL.
Will’s promoting his new movie Land of the Lost by going onto Man vs. Wild with Bear as they go thru the icy mountains and glaciers of north Sweden.
Will and Bear had to “tandem-abseil off a helicopter, rappel down hundred-foot frozen waterfalls and build a shelter to stay warm overnight in subzero temperatures.”
And apparently Will had to drink his own urine and eat reindeer eyeballs to survive.
The episode will air in early June and despite drinking his own pee, Will said he had a great time,
“To be able to participate in an episode of ‘Man vs. Wild’ was a thrill of a lifetime, even though I did get urine-drunk, which is sad.”
Man vs Wild is a horrible show. The host is an ass and he isn’t actually putting himself in harms way. Survivorman is supremely better.
this show is fake. they stay in hotels. its about to jump the shark if he gets a “sidekick” ugh!
I prefer Ray Mears, he’s like the David Attenborough of British bushcraft TV. Bear Grylls is okay when he actually shows you something interesting and useful but not when he snacks on rotting seal guts with an elephant poo chaser for no reason other than shock value.
As far as being ‘fake’ I don’t really expect someone to risk their life just so I can see something on TV.

That’s because “Bear” Gryllis is just acting on Man vs. Wild. He’s so stupid- first off, he was caught leaving the scene and staying in hotels with his crew. Then, he does crap for NO valid reason, like eat a fish raw. Will will fit right in acting alongside Bear’s fake survival.
Les Stroud from Survivorman is WAY superior and would outsurvive Bear in any situation. Les isn’t a moron, and he’s doing everything himself with no aid… AND he does things smart. Look! I have a fire- I’ll cook the fish, because it’s STUPID to eat it raw when you don’t need to.

Why couldn’t they just be stranded on an island and not freeze to death. Then that way they can use your survival skills! That would be worth seeing!
I hate it when funny people try to do serious things, but this might be okay. lol. I cant wait to see Will Farrell almost die. I love him (no homo) but it would be great to see it.

Though I have a general and pervasive distrust of canadians I have to say that’s les’s show Survivorman is WAY better than MvW, grylls is still worth watching. I’ll definitely watch this epiode.
Don’t know about this. Not a big fan of Man VS. Wild to begin with, but Will can be very funny…so I’m torn. I’ll probably watch it.

I hate Bear Grills. He cheats. Look it up on youtube. Or just watch the show. He is supposed to be showing people how to survive on their own, but the techniques he shows are totally dangerous, and could get you killed if you are on your own. Then he gets his camera crew to help him ALL THE TIME! He tries to build a shelter, the sun is going down, so he gets his crew to help him. I guess the real message is that if you are going into the wilderness, bring a camera crew with you.
I also hate Will Ferrell, his movies suck. He always plays the same retarded character who just screams every line. It was funny back in the movies he just had a PART in, like old school, but it’s not funny as the main character. It really just shows the intelligence level of most people that they are such popular movies.
I hope they both fall off a cliff or something.
the show sounds like itll be pretty funny, who f-in cares that he gets help from his cam crew(if he does) its just a show,and will farrells movies are funny-stuff,, u seem bitter at the world J-Put, maybe u have a little depression goin on, that would only exaplin why for sum reason u dont find one if the funniest ppl in movies 2day not funny at all…..i suggest u seek professional help and soon, before u have no soul left at all, u worthelss shell of a human being who’s only emotion left is obviously hatered

Their mistake was not following sure fire survival techniques by our lady Munn. You don’t need to drink pee or it deer balls if you just follow her 2 easy steps when you’re in a survival situation.
1. Bring some water preferably in a bottle.
2. Pack a nice sack lunch

Man Vs Wild is for p@#$ies. Most of the things he does can get you seriously hurt or even killed. If you want to learn how to actually survive in the wilderness. Check out Les Stroud’s Survivor Man

I do agree with Tuco to an extent, I don’t think Bear sucks, but you can tell some of his actions are staged, it says so right at the beginning credits. Seems really over dramatic too. “OMG let me jump off this mountain and bite the head off a snake! YEAH!!” lol
I appreciate what he’s trying to do, its just a lil too cheezy sometimes, that’s why I like Les’ show better, no doubt all his stuff is real.
