So sad. DJ AM was found dead this morning in an apartment on Lafayette Street in Manhattan.
Sources said drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment.
I worked with him on Iron Man 2 recently. He was really quiet and sweet, but told me how I excited he was to be working on the movie.
He last tweeted on Tuesday a line from a Grandmaster Flash song: “New york, New York. Big city of dreams, but everything in New York ain’t always what it seems.”
Rest in peace.

Legendary television journalist Walter Cronkite died today at 7:42 p.m. with his family by his side at his home in New York after a long illness. He had been suffering from cerebrovascular disease.
Cronkite was the broadcaster to whom the title “anchorman” was first applied, and he came so identified in that role that eventually his own name became the term for the job in other languages. (Swedish anchors are known as Kronkiters; In Holland, they are Cronkiters.)
RIP Walter Cronkite
Billy Mays, awesome spokesman of everything you’d ever want, died last night in his sleep.
