palm-pre

Sprint confirmed that they will have the Palm Pre through 2009… It will have hit stores in July. And in December, Verizon Wireless will swoop in.

I hear great things about this phone. But, I still don’t want it. I loves me my Blackberry. Mmm, mmm good times!

New LG GD900

LG Cita

GD-900 from LG is 13.4mm-thick, 7.2Mbps and is the first transparent glass keypad and also has a 3-inch display. The GD900 features vibrational haptic feedback and that the transparent keypad doubles as a touch-sensitive mouse pad (like that on your laptop) when surfing the internet. You can also do stuff like write an”M” to launch MP3 music player and pinch to zoom on photographs like the iPhone.

No U.S. release date yet, but if you live in Europe or Asia, you get to play with it first.

top-secret microsoft iphone killer stolen

Pick Pocket

Microsoft has been planning and creating a cell phone that is supposed to rival Apple’s iPhone, but just a few hours after they announced Windows Mobile 6.5 the phone was stolen out of an executive’s pocket!! Seriously! Right from the pocket of the CEO of Australian telecommunications giant, Telstar. Apparently he was given the device by Microsoft to” test the system ahead of the launch.”

Everyone at Microsoft is freaking out about this obviously.
Some of the features they were promoting for Windows Mobile 6.5 were Windows Marketplace for Mobiles, which they hope to compete with Apple’s App Store in providing easy ways to download music, games, etc.

Microsoft also talked about a “Myphone” service offering users a free online backup service for all their mobile data, including personal contacts, text messages and documents stored on their phone.

Microsoft itself refused to comment. “We have nothing to say on this subject at this time,” said a spokesman from their London office.

I’m sure they’re just freaking out right now.

That sucks for Microsoft. Sorry, guys.
