With Madonna’s vag no longer sucking the creativity out of Ritchie, and greats like Downey Jr, Rachel McAdams, and well.. Jude Law better not fuck up Watson. I’ve followed those short stories since I was 16, and if they have nothing else in it, Holmes better do some cocaine injections.

Looks like a really good movie. almost like 007 just not hard-boiled haha.
I will not go to see this movie - it looks bad. I prefer to read my Holmes.
Unfortunately it looks like theyre focusing way more on action than on mystery and puzzle solving, which is 80% of the original holmes and what made him so great.

Wow, they turn Holmes into an action hero, it could be fun if you get the idea from what the real Holmes is out of your head.
Interesting, but I’m a little leery of watching anything anymore that has Joel Silver tied to it. Between the u two Matrix films and Speed Racer, he hasn’t had a good run lately (though maybe that’s the Wachowski’s fault). Hopefully, it’ll work out.
Holmes great character, Guy Rictchie….a bad one.
Plus seems like some odd candidates for their respected characters.
Would rather see another production of the great Sherlock.

It looks like a hit.Very beautifully captured in the trailer anyway.Sometimes the trailers lie by being the best and only good things in the movie but I`ll take the time to go check this one out.

How do you make classic 20th century literature consumable for the 21st century? Simple, Explosions, tits and gun fights. Part of me feels bad that they are taking so many liberties, the other part of me likes explosions, tits and gun fights….

I’m actually concerned that this will become some shallow hollywood action flick, selling out the soul of the original Sherlock Holmes stories. I like Robert Downey Jr., though. I hope he can bring across the character of Holmes.

Robert Downey Jr. is the freakin’ best! Anything he touches seems to turn to gold nowadays. This movie will rule simply because he is in it. Of course, it looks awesome for other reasons too.

the hammer scene was fun, but I really like the end piece with the pillow.

So at what point does he make his suit of mechanical armor? Oh, wrong movie. This movie is going to rock though. Great cast, great chemistry, great story. Thank God Guy Ritchie has divorced Madonna and somehow convinced a horse to buck her. I wonder how he pulled that off?
This movie looks incredible. I have been excited to see this movie in the theaters ever since I first heard about it. My excitement level is now in overdrive after seeing this awesome trailer.
