Obama picks net neutrality guy to FCC chief
President Obama picked Julius Genachowski as the top telecommunications regulator. Genachowski has worked in both political jobs and as an Internet executive.
This is not an unexpected hiring as, Genny (as I’ll now call him, because his name is too damn long) participated in the Obama’s internet efforts during the campaign and previously worked as chief counsel to Democratic FCC Chairman Reed Hundt.
