I think, based on what I’ve seen and heard, that they got this movie right. SO looking forward to it.
Eh. Some of these clips aren’t too interesting. The last trailer for Wolverine wasn’t that good either.
Chris Hardwick posted on Twitter that he liked Watchmen (he saw it tonight) better than The Dark Knight. So if you agree with him on things, go from there.

Is it too soon to debate here the ultimate decision/position of Rorschach versus that of Manhattan/everyone else?
In terms of overarching plot, DaveO, agreed… I was thinking that focusing on the final confrontation between Rorschach and Dr. Banana Hammock (credit Tyler, if I remember right) would provide an entry point to the bigger debate, since it presents it in such immediate terms and immediate resolution. But agreed.
I could provide an ultimate spoiler to those who haven’t read the novel by revealing Rorschach’s final Rorschach. LMFAO. Sorry. Had to go there. I figured he would end up symmetrical no matter what, right?
I think it could be. I’m not sure how many people here actually read and retained the graphic novel (not comic book). In addition to fact of the use of the Doomsday Clock from the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists in the novel to signify the closeness of the Soviet Union and the US going to nuclear war. Most people on the forum are too young to remember us being enemies with the USSR or even know of the Doomsday Clock without a detailed explanation.
I second Magoo. But I think the real dichotomy would be Rorschach’s stance vs that of Ozymnadias.

Just get enough Nyquil to last yourself from now until the 6th. You’ll be in a stupor until the opening and you won’t notice the time go by. Don’t drive or operate heavy machinery though.
Call me crazy, but the acting in that clip was terrible.
There are going to be riots in the streets if this movie sucks. Fanboys everywhere will be disappointed, I’m going to lower my expectations right now to make sure I enjoy it when it comes out just in case it ‘is’ bad.

This is because they took out the squid and replaced it with a nuke at the end. It is foreshadowing, people. Geez.
@ Jenny Z: I have had a bad feeling about this movie for while now. The trailers look good and the effects stunning but the cast and the acting looks doomed. Also, they referred to the heroes as the Watchmen which I am fairly certain was not really done in the book and it gives me the chills with how cheesy it sounds.
I loved the comic, can’t wait to see the movie!

Meh. That clip didn’t wind me up to see the movie any more than the previous ones did. I just hope the movie isn’t as slow as that scene was.

I am so unbelievably stoked for this movie, I can’t watch any more clips. I want it all to be new to me when I see it at Midnight on March 5. Rollie, you in?
