Man buys coffin, jumps in, shoots self
A South Slavic man from Montenegrin (wherever the hell that is) went into a funeral home, purchased a coffin, wrote out his obituary, then climbed into the coffin and shot himself in the head.
BUT the 52-year-old man SURVIVED! Apparently he was having family problems and was even more upset when he realized he didn’t successfully kill himself. The bullet passed through his chin and nose but MISSED his brain.
All that preparation and it was a FAIL.
To make things worse- the funeral home wouldn’t refund him for the coffin. I’m sure he made a mess in it. He should just keep it in his garage for the next time.

It’s sad that he had such a horrible life but there are better ways of solving your problems other than killing yourself. It sucks even more that he didn’t even accomplish his goal.

That is wierd. But atleast he handled all the hardwork before he did it instead of laying the burden on his family.
Next time he’s going to throw a toaster into the bathtub with no water in it. He won’t die of electrecution but he will have toast.

The dude is from Montenegro, but he is Montenegrin. Its a small nation that was apart of the former Yugoslavia.
Here’s a fun fact. Montenegro was one of the only nations in SE Europe to successfully resist repeated Ottoman invasion. They are kind of the “rednecks” of Europe though.

I feel a little better about myself when I hear someone tries to commit suicide. But then I feel a little more guilty that I feel better each time and it becomes a vicious cycle. I want some pie.
Olivia, I don’t think you read the actual story- it’s not nearly as sensationalistic as you think. He was just TRYING THE COFFIN OUT. Just like any major purchase, give it a test-run to see how it does. In this case, it worked out perfectly.

When I went through EMT training I saw a video of a guy that failed a suicide attempt with a 12 gauge shotgun under his chin. He ended up blowing off his whole face, literally but surviving. The EMTs got him to the hospital in time for the doctors to save his life and now he lives by someone spoon feeding him baby food straight into his trachea (he has not tongue or mouth even). It was totally disgusting. If you are going to do it, at least do it right.
True story, 50Cent actually shot himself those nine times.
