I’m giving up my flaws for Lent. It won’t be easy but that’s the point and self-flagellation is SO first millenium!
But, Munn…YOU’RE PERFECT! Muah!
Life isn’t about accepting and embracing your flaws. It’s about accepting and embracing everyone’s flaws.
I didn’t see any flaws. Show me a video about people who are proud smokers, proud wife beaters, proud at being terrible drivers, proud to be compulsive liars, proud to sneeze in people’s faces - then it will be a video about “embracing your flaws”.
This video was about embracing your idiosyncrasies, not your flaws. I rolled my eyes at how narrowmindedly the word “flaw” was used in this video. Blonde eyelashes? Please, what does that have to do with flaws? Are you a bad person for having blonde eyelashes? Are you inconsiderate for having blonde eyelashes? Blonde eyelashes are a detail, not a flaw. Get with the fucking program.

Loved the song and the intent. All of us are flawed. Irrevocably. We are all human. The real flaw in all of us is that we will always believe it is better to point out the flaws in someone else. The flaws which were built into us as far back as when the nothing turned into something. So long ago that to think our flaws are “unique” is to deny that time has passed at all. Everything that is seen has been seen a billion trillion times before. There is nothing in the human experience, emotionally or physically, that has not been experienced before.
interesting…but there’s something about calling one’s uniqueness, a ‘flaw’. It’s not quite right, I think.. O.o Then it calls into question, what is perfection? and all this is is outwardly ‘flaws’, not even what makes a whole person, just their outward vanity.
and really, the other half of the message is for others not to be so judgemental. I just like to think of it when people accept who they are, and that they can deal.
not to be a ANT (Automatic Negative Thought), but the trick is not to love your flaws, but love others despite theirs. Some of are fat, some are short, others lost, and others have many flaws. the key is not to only love ourselves, flaws and all; but to love others despite their flaws. in the end we are more than our flaws or positive attributes. and its that which we have yet to learn, to others we are still big fat fatties or what ever our flaws are. to that, change needs to come.

It really is true that you can’t love someone unless you truely love yourself.Flaws or no flaws. Kudos to your friend for making such a heart felt video.
Maybe Olivia Munn can learn from this and stop calling overweight people fatties. Yeah it’s ironic Caitlin Crosby is her friend, giving this message and yet Olivia Munn discriminates.
I have a quote by Marilyn Manson that basically sums up this video:
“Enjoy your faults, that’s what separates you from the rest of the world, that’s what makes you special.”
I thought it was nice hearing something like that from such a misjudged person.
Although hearing it from some people makes me laugh. I remember when Molly Sims had a “The more you know” commercial about loving who you are on the inside because what’s on the outside doesn’t matter… good stuff Molly… good stuff.

I love the the clip and the message within…telling myself and others for years, flawless is just another word for characterless.
After eons of unemployment and being alone, I don’t think I’ll quite ever love my flaw of having anxiety disorder.
(My big nose I can have surgery on someday, so I don’t care about that flaw.)
Now if all the workout gear at my gym wasn’t flawed! None of it is working on losing weight for me. I may actually have to GO to the gym and yell at the machines for their flawed nature.
Wonder if I’d get a discount for nose AND liposuction? Hmmm….
