This is just a friendly reminder to the drunk guy that he is in the “wong” part of town, that’s all. Just a little help for all you drinkies out there. Be happy for the tip!

  7. I hope its next door to a “City Wok”

  8. These Asian stores always have great names. One of the headlines on Leno (yes I watch Leno) was a picture of a Chinese restaurant that was seriously called “Phat Phucs”.

  9. Point me to the Fooktion section.

  10. Wheres the tentacle section?

  11. Sure, you could go in there and entertain yourself with some light reading, but you’ll just be bored again an hour later.

  12. So awesome! :)

  13. I bet its full of ancient chinese secrets

  14. Aglee, Wong Fook no good. Lite Fook better.

  15. why is it everytime i drink expensive Asian green tea, my poop is super black?

i wonder if they have the “Monkey King” on ancient scrolls…and
i’ll betcha theres a fortune cookie factory beneath it!

Um, “Wong Fook Hing Bookstore”… Wrong Fucking Bookstore????? HAHAHAHAHAHA. I love them (Asians). That’s probably the best bookstore in all the land. On second thought, I’d place my bet on Powell’s bookstore here in Portland for that title. Did you know I found “The Essays of Arthur Schopenhauer” for only $7 in there?? It was translated from German and printed in 1846 or something. Crazy. Apparently blogging wasn’t very lucrative even back then.

  17. Tell me this though, would you not walk into that bookstore expecting greatness? I would

  18. Priceless!!!

  19. This is actually the correct title of the place, they just didn’t get the whole name up there. It’s actually the So Wong Fook Hing Book Store. It’s actually an adult bookstore that specializes in some of that crazy Asian porn. Ahh Asians, what won’t you keep up there…….

  20. so, they only sell books on how to Fook for a Wong time?

  21. Now you have to ask: did they intend that? For instance, you can get some good Chinese food at the Ho Lee Chow chain of restaurants in Toronto, and that name was totally intentional.

  24. Nah you don’t know what you’re getting with just Book store…

  25. yes book store def could work well here :) but i love the foo king

  26. There is a Dong Insurance company.

  27. LMAO!!!! You know damn well they set that name up on purpose! You asians are some slick thinking mutha fuckers!!! LOL!!!

  28. I bet the book store kepp a few of those super secret chinese kung fu guide book somewhere on the basement. :)

    Sounds dangerous and messy.

  30. thats an awesome name

  31. And next door you can enjoy a nice cigar from “Mie Cox Smokers”.

  32. Wow that’s the wrong fucking bookstore. Just had to be captain obvious and point that out bc it took me like forever to realize it. Haha and yeah I’ve seen chinese restaurants called “wok and roll” lol I love asian people and their delicious food.

  33. yup that’s one fucking book store

  34. They must not get much business using that name….unlike a really good chinese restaurant in Sydney called Wok On Inh…i am not joking.

  35. The sign is correct though. Next door is the “WITE FOOK HING BOOK STORE”.
