@Jack the features of the Zen were nice, the radio and voice recorder were nice, but the constant freezing was irritating, as was the lack of easy to find accessories. Even so, I was still fine with it until it was infiltrated by the virus.
And the upside down isn't because it's "cool," it's because I know so many people with the name Ryan, that on Myspace it made me different than the simple "Ryan". Although I rarely use Myspace anymore as I've migrated to Facebook, where last names are used, It has since become a calling card of sorts for me on various sites such as this. You can simply call me Ryan, no need to acknowledge the upside down nature of it. I'll still know it's me you're referring to.
@TH3 H4NMGAMN again, reading comprehension seems to have been your down fall. Had you actually taken the time to click the link, you'd have seen that the article in question had nothing to do with converting users; but instead converting programmers. "Microsoft promises a big contest for app developers, complete with big prizes. Plus, big rules. All you have to do is click through one screen after another, pony up an annual $99 plus a $99/per app fee, ditch Java, among other things." Please explain to me how it isn't a fail. Microsoft wants the programmers to pony up $100 up front (plus every year) to have the right to create apps in an unproven market, plus having to pay $100 to get your massively restricted app into the aforementioned unproven market. You're right. Epic win. They're surely going to convert iPhone/iPod touch programmers with a system that charges programmers double for creating one app (plus anual fees to keep the app there) than what Apple charges for creating an unlimited number of apps. With a system like that, you can forget having free apps too. But yes, epic win.
As far as the state of colleges goes, it's true, the general quality of colleges have declined. And I use the term college loosely, seeing as I actually am a student at a University; but with the interchangable nature of the terms, I simply say college. However, I really wouldn't know anything first hand about the decine, seeing as I go to one of the best colleges and universities in the Northeast, according to the Princeton Review. And also one of the very few colleges and universities they recomended in their book on the subject, for the 2010 school year.
You really need to stop trying to turn this simple discussion into a dick swinging contest; you're making a fool of yourself.
