I was wondering if anyone has sent a Magazine to Olivia (or anyone really) for signing internationally. I'm not even sure how to do it.

I'm Canadian and if anybody wants to help me out that'd be great.

Shipping from US to Canada, then back to US then back to Canada's gonna get pretty pricey, but I don't care, I'll do it if it's possible.

Munn don't like no furreigners son.
Seriously I don't think it'd be a problem as long as you include a SASE.

Why are you reading this? I have nothing to say to you.

I was all set to hit SEND on my answer when I realized you can't put Canadian postage on your return envelope obviously. (A mistake I see Daniel made as well )

So I did a little searchin' for ya, because I am just that helpful... and just that bored. Ok, apparently you can purchase an IRC (International Reply Coupon) from Canada Post at any Canadian postal outlet, at a cost of $3.95. Ask them to weigh your magazine(s) and they should be able to tell you how many IRC's you're going to need. Then just put them on your SASE, and you should be good to go.

I remember doing this for stuff I sent to England years ago, and the IRC's really do work. So hope that helps you.

I am obsolete. This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster.

She'll sign but only if you include real bacon instead of that canadian bacon crap.

    Thanks a lot, brisco.
I was going to send something to Allison Scagliotti for signing a bit back, and since she lives in both US and Canada she mentioned IRC's. At the time I did some googling but couldn't exactly figure out what the deal with them were.

So thanks for clearing that up. I'll definitely talk to my post office about IRC's once I get my magazine.

I didn't even think about that. Stupid Canada and it's stupid Canadian ways.

I agree that the whole situation with shipping between Canada and US is pretty stupid. We're neighbors. We're part of the same land mass. We're *right next to each other*. Yet it's really expensive/difficult to ship between us. Why? I don't know.

All I want is my signed Olivia Mag.

Oh, and @herb. We have bacon here you realize. We also have 'peameal bacon' (which is amazing), which you guys in US call 'Canadian bacon' for some reason.
