One thing I know about football - those jersey are deceptively warm! I have one that I use as a night shirt and I feel like I'm walking around with a heater strapped to my back.

Maybe if girls would play fantasy football and watch their players and teams on Sundays they would learn more. That's what I do
It helps with a boyfriend who loves to play madden and watch NFL.

I didn't know this was going to turn into rabble rabble rabble. I know that there are girls who watch football. but generally, girls don't get into it with the same enthusiasm as guys.

And the thing that made me want to post this was when I was trying to explain to her the difference between a team that has a feature back and teams that run by committee. She figures that because someone wins the Heisman he should be a great player in the NFL. Our main topic was Reggie Bush. I told her he wasn't a power back and that he was basically a third string back, but that didn't mean he sucks. She loves basketball, so she went on a rant about how NBA is better than the NFL because when a star player gets drafted to the NBA, he is still a good player and rah rah rah, but in the NFL you have players that don't blossom until 2 or 3 years into their career and they didn't even get drafted or you have a player that gets drafted and then cant really compete at the NFL level.

@Tyler- "I didn't know this was going to turn into rabble rabble rabble."

You either give us too much credit, or you've been away too long. Rabble rabble rabble is the inevitable result of all posts. Just a matter of time. Rabble rabble rabble is the "entropy" of the universe that is Munn's forum. You just got schooled in forum physics.

@Tyler - It takes around 10 games just to explain the concept of downs and basic rules, if they are paying attention, and then who knows how many more to explain coaching concepts such as special teams, use of the play clock and time outs. Wait until you are a parent and see the mothers that show up to games. I'm not knocking women in general, because there are men out there that are just as clueless, but on average, women know less about football AND are more vocal about it when their children are playing.

@magoo There is nothing that can mimic the emotions of a parent watching their child play in a recreational game.

@Herb - No. You should be getting spread-eagle on the hood of a Jaguar for the "Here I Go Again On My Own" reshoot. The sports bra would ruin the whole thing.

@magoo Well were going to have to shoot the video near you because its 0 degrees here. Although erect nipples could be sexy.

@Herb - It was really nice here, in the mid 50s. Erect nipples are good but I don't think we want your nips hard enough to scratch the paint or cut the glass on a rental Jag. We want to get the deposit back.

@magoo True, we'll save the erect nips for our remake of Sir Mix-a-lots Put Em on the Glass video.

@Herb - Or if we ever make an actual film. I'm thinking Midnight Express. Your Put Em on the Glass reference gave me the inspiration.
