    @Awalker The opening credits of Watchmen where they play Bob Dylan's The Times They Are A'Changing as they montage throughout the history of the Watchmen universe is one of my all time favorite scenes.

    Also I forgot to mention Coraline on my list... I'd bump Hangover for Coraline..

    @Peaches Seriously, you have to have a heart of stone not to well up. I hope it doesn't lose the resonance on home video.. Look if there is a dollar theatre I recommend you check it out...

    also anyone watch Whiteout? I hear its terrible but I do like the source material from writer Greg Rucka...

    Star Trek was the best movie of the summer.

    I went in expecting very little based on previous Trek films. The visuals were amazing, the story was great, and there was so much humor that you would never expect. Bones and Scottie were great.

    Took 3 friends with little or no exposure to Trek movies or shows. They all loved it.

    i think best sci fi was star trek..best comedy was hangover..and best family film was Up. i don't know where i'd categorize district 9 but i loved it too.

    I have had it with these monkey fightin' snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!
