What a great episode. I am not a tech person at all. I don't get or understand any of it anymore. I used to have a real good grasp on computers and such but technology just sky rocketed and I got left behind. I had seen G4 on my program guide forever but just thought it would all go over my head. I just happen to catch the best of AOTS on the weekend, ( when they used to do that) to check it out. I didn't realize that it was a funny tech show with a couple of very relate able hosts. The chemistry between Olivia and Kevin is fantastic. That was very evident by the 1st audition tape of her and him. While a lot of the tech stuff I still don't get, the program hooked me in and I haven't stopped watching ever since.

Olivia oozes with sex appeal so much so that you get the feeling that you might have a chance. Kevin seems like your brother, cousin, or some family member that you enjoy. Anyway 1000 shows and counting. Way to go to the whole AOTS crew.

I missed green screen girl. I'll have to re watch to see if they showed it. That is one of the funniest bits Olivia did. It ALWAYS gets stuck in my head

kevin had my in tears when he said "yeah, it was suppose to look like a wang." the show was overall really good. the part i DID NOT like was watching old wrinkly alan thicke kissing omunn. just wrong. and yes im jealous

All around great show. The greased pig breaking out of the hay ring was the best part I think. Just Olivia running away screaming had me laughing so hard.
Also I'd love to see them retry the sky dong at episode 1500.
In the same episode you could have KP make out with Meredith Baxter Berney from Family Ties. Sort of bring it full circle.

I would like to get confirmation from Kevin, Olivia or Alison as to whether or not Tom Green's destruction of the set was real or staged.

With Tom Green, I just cannot tell.

I use random ring tones for my alarm clock on my phone. Yesterday I woke up to the theme from Growing Pains. Didn't realize it was foreshadowing an awesome AOTS moment.

ok. finally watched it. great show! loved the "hi-lited" munn audition tape, sarah doin' the 3 shots of sauce, the pa/queen bit and the parry video

i thought munn running from the greased pig and the puke was hilarious

and i really coulda done w/o tom green at all...i'd be willing to bet he was suppoed to smash something, but not the robots cuz he's an ass like that...

but all in all it was really cool and proves what great tv it really is, how unpretentious and real it is...

oh yeah and @BurningChrome, i also thought the tom green nonsense was really stupid and a waste of valuable 1000th episode time, but i guess it makes sense.
he was their first guest and brought some popularity to the show.
i wonder how much the robots cost, and if he really wasn't supposed to break them or if it was scripted? did they just stay "tom we want you to come back on the show for the 1000th episode and just break shit"?

I definitely think the robot destruction was staged.

The other times Tom has been on AOTS he breaks something on the set.

If they really wanted him to stop, they would have tried to hold him back.
