This happened yesterday in Calgary
So my friend told me that he girlfriend went missing since Monday (Aug 29th).
He said that the police wouldn't let him help with the case, so he took it up to himself. He called her mother who said that she went to a friends house for a sleepover but never came home. This friend that she went to for a sleepover said that she never arrived. He talked to me yesterday and wanted me to help him figure out what would lead to this, so I helped him out and we spent literally the whole night creating scenarios. We finally concluded that she was either pregnant (he was dumb and didn't use a condom, which I will beat him up for), or she got kidnapped due to 3 reasons for kidnapping. She lived near a troubled area of Calgary, she left at night, and she was the perfect age and look for sexual abuse. I said that I would hear his updates the next day, and went to get some sleep.
He then went on by himself and went on to several leads and eventually found her in a small cage battered and bruised. She was so badly damaged that she is currently recovery in the hospital.
My friend had to go to the police to fill paperwork and listed my name as a person who helped him solve the case. I will be receiving a thank you letter in the mail soon. The story will be in the newspaper on Tuesday as well, but I am not caring about that.
He is suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and he hasn't been acting normal for a long time, I don't know what to do to help him, or if the guy that kidnapped her might attack him.
I know that this forum has been understanding in the past, so please listen to this and try to help me. I am worried for my friend's safety and health now.
