A few words of advive:
1# When your cracking open eather pods its easyer to start on the left side(volume switch side).
2# the screens you buy dont come with the plate that clips in the back plate so the best way is to first pop your screen out.Since the old screen and digitizer is garbage heating it up is not going to hurt anything,just dont do it while your iphone/itouch is together.Heat it up with a hair dryer to melt up the glue keeping them together.Then use a thin razor blade CAREFULLY to seperate the two.
3# Carefully push the Digitizer into its pin before you try snaping it into place and bach together. The Digitizer ribbon is very weak and will brake if your not careful.
Im learning that lesson right now. I tryed starting the screen halfway first then putting the Digitizer in place.Bad Idea. It severed the ribbon.
Anyway I hope this helps anyone with a shattered Iphone or Itouch.
