I am reading textbooks right now, they are not fun. The last book I read was" The Unwanted" by kien nguyen. It's an autobiography, it talks about his chilhood in Vietnam being half vietnamese and american, and the communist take over.

I'm reading the "Band of Brothers" by Stephen Ambrose even though I've watched the series too many times. There's always pieces of the story they leave out of a movie or show but you can find it in the book.

Dark Mission by Richard C Hoglund. Any Coast to Coast fans out there should really read this book!

A Brief History of Time
by Stephen Hawking.
Let's bypass the questions asking why a 16 year old is reading such an advanced book. The next time they give you all that civic bullshit about voting,
keep in mind that Hitler was elected in a full, free democratic electionPosted 1 year ago # -
Get over yourself, I had to read A Brief History of Time in high school. I also had to walk there uphill both ways in the snow using socks for gloves.

@Riverside216: I also have read "A Brief History of Time" by Stephen Hawking...very interesting book by a man of genius.
If you liked it I recommend you "The Universe in a Nutshell" by Stephen Hawking.Posted 1 year ago # -
I raid the science section of Chapters every month, and they have a lot of really good books.
@almost6mexican what kind of high school reads that book? It is meant for university students studying quantum physics. Whenever I try and explain wormholes, time travel, dark matter, and the multiverse theory to kids at my high school, they just blank out and tell me to use smaller words...
Dumb asses.Posted 1 year ago # -
@Riverside216: Actually Hawking wrote this books with the aim to explain quantum physics etc. to a wider audience of "normal" people. They are no study material and only scratch the surface of these topics. But nevertheless a really good read if you are interested in science.

@S0nntagskind so does that mean tom cruise read that book cuz he said it to himself that he believe in science more than god
Posted 1 year ago # -
@mike80: I don't know if Tom Cruise read it but as far as I know Hawking himself never excluded the existence of a god. You don't have to be scientologist or atheist to enjoy science.

Still reading Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein. Recently I've read a collection of Asimov's short stories and the complete Sherlock Holmes.
I would recommend anything from the Flashman series by George McDonald Fraser - hilarious. Also Hitchhikers Guide series by Adams.
