   Im really happy to see the price cut and the slim looks pretty sweet.I dont like theres only two usb ports but whatever.I like my 60gb that I upgraded the hard drive to a 250 gb plus with the four usb slots I can charge my ipod among other things to it if im in a hurry.
   Dont let the haters get to you.It`s worth the buy.I love my PS3.

   why do you need wires! when there's Wireless!

   PS3 "was" lame.
   this slim has a chance of being decent. no more Spiderman font on it is a plus.
   $300 for a bluray player that happens to play games is a good deal.
   but then again. who plays games on that thing.
   just buy a keyboard and Wah-Pah, cheap computer at your disposal.

   @todosho I know your not a fan but slaping in 7200 RPM HD the load time is really short. I have over 50 games for mine including KillZone

   yea. those are the things i hate the most....
   the fact that it likes loading and also the fact that it likes installing.

   and that people on the network don't have mics. get those 3 fixed and i'll gladly say i love my PS3.

   how do you install a 7200 RPM?

   It really easy replace and install a new hard drive.There`s tons YouTube help videos.And plus doing it dose not void your warrenty.
   The Ps3 Hard Drives are just Sata drives for pretty much a laptop hard drive. The old one will be a 5200 Rpm Sata.

   1# Backup you stuff.
   2#pop the left side panel off.
   3# Take out a screw holding the HD tray.
   4# Gently remove HD.
   5#put the new HD in tray.
   6#Gently push it back into place.
   7# Fire it up.
   8# go to format in the system and let it do it`s job.
   Then it`s done and game on.

   I kinda when with the safe route and went with the same brand of Seagate and a 250gb. You can put a 500 gb but that`s kinda overkill. Mabey next time.

   Are we now starting another XBOX vs PS3 thread? I remember the last times this happened, there were arguements for bacon and sausage all over the place, and the validity of Megan Fox's hotness is still up for debate...

    Todosho knows about the ps3.He has one.
    Something I dont understand is ppl not having mics.I play open room COD4 all the time and theres tons of ppl with mics.
    Mabey alot of people are aware the blue tooth headset`s are so cheap now.I came acrossed a killer one at Staples for under 20 bucks.
    Also linking though to the bluetooth might be confusing for some but it`s really pretty easy.
    Something else was the PS3 is setup so you can install linux operating system on it also.Im not really linux savey so the option is not really something really interested but would be a cool alteritive on having a desktop were it would be kinda a must to upgrade the hard drive to say a 500 gb.
    Im kinda waiting for the new motion control to get refinded useing the PS3 Eye webcam which I have.And there are some pretty cool games that use it but there nothing compared to what there have been working on.
    Something else I love is the wireless keyboard for the dual shock.
    I did a review for Coin-op Tv that honestly sucks because I shot it in one take and I kept saying Basiclly about every other word. But it stilll gives a pretty good run down about it. I do think if your playing Little Big Planet the wireless keyboard is a must.

    sure the PS3 has all that.
    the things i hate;
    download i can take...but then to wait for it to install=retarded.
    (another thing i havent figured out is if it can download and shutoff when its done. xbox has this option)
    playing a team game that requires some vocal help......90-95%of the time no one has a mic.

    i'm slowly liking it. but still. i'm used to the xbox.
    like having the ease of looking at what achievement i need to do, takes 1 seconds.....on the PS3 it takes about 5-10 seconds. if you don't think that's a lot, try looking at your friends list of "trophies"...those extra 4 seconds adds up to frustration.

    above all else, all my friends own xbox's.....and we all join in on a game to have fun. even my gf has a xbox, where we played Left 4 Dead running and screaming in joy.
    PS3 is all about looking pretty and not about having fun with your friends.

    Well i have no problems with mine it could be that you have a bad internet conection. But iv always liked the playstation systems and always will. So you have your opinion and i have mine.

    hah. 10mins of play was good enough for me.

    Resistance 2 looks like one crappy ass 1990 PC game.
    time to go look for another "great" PS3 game.

    any suggestions that isn't a 1 player game?

    how am i a true PS3 hater, when i just took a pic on how ridiculous the wait time can be?

    and i played the demo of inFamous, i don't like how the guy can stand like a normal human being....who's he trying to be, idk, Spiderman?
    i actually love Prototype for its craziness. being able to lift a car and run through the streets is hilarious. running along the buildings is freaking sweet as well.

    Dude knocking inFamous.... Come on man. The demo is just that... a demo and not even close to the game.I was pretty stand offish about buying the game myself because I played the demo and wasnt inpressed, but the game blows it away and one of the better game ive played in a while. How can any game score with 9s and 10s be bad.
    Ps.The outlandish Download time is clearly your crappy internet connection

    @Brendan14 I here you there.I run mine Via Wifi and never been bumped from games or have outlandish download times. Im thrilled that Sony backtracks there games with updates.It could be way worst buy not having any at all after game date release`s.

    yea don't knock things til you try it.
    but honestly.....i don't like how he hunches over like a douche when you're just STANDING!
    that to me was irritating.
    kinda like how irritating it is to see a Sith hold a light saber like a ninja.

    walking around as Vader was amazing....then to use his apprentice holding a saber wrong is just stupid.

    the problem i have with the PS3, is its installing. how it likes to install things every single time. and won't even let you play the game if you don't have the newest update installed.

    i rent games. its easier to just try things out......and especially for PS3. their games are only 1 time play throughs.
    final thought. Resistance 2 was suppose to be the Halo or Gears of War killer?
