Bah I'm guttered I missed the sessions! I'm sure you all had a blast, was out most of the weekend doing things, couldn't catch 20 minutes to sit down!

saturday night was more chill than friday but still fun. a couple things stood out for me.
just me and grassy are in game waiting for anyone else to crash the party.
*i hear the familiar sounds of ice cubes hitting glass*
genji: "are you drinking?"
grassy: *maniacally laughs* "maaaaybe"
genji: *nervously laughs*
we were getting rolled on by the other team. explosions everywhere and open mic has gone silent. it was getting late and we were all tired. noname was done and announced he's leaving:
noname: "alright guys i'm done."
all: "alright good gaming with you" / "see ya next time" / "catch you on the boards"
noname: "i love you guys"
*a few more seconds of explosions occur in the background and radio silence*
andy: "did he just say 'i love you guys?"

Was fun when we all ended up on the same team. Was funny when we got totally and repeatedly owned by the other team in every measurable way. OMFG!!!!

@genji that was pretty funny. i like how we all went silent till he left then were like, "did he just say what-" and someone else would answer "yea he just did"

Just played one of my coolest and most brutal rounds of TF2 ever!! After almost getting rolled pretty soundly, our opponent's payload was one wheel away from cruising into the final shack, but, give and take some small back and forth, we held it like that over five minutes to win the game. Full field and for the final standoff almost everyone on our side was engineer or heavy, it was crazy! And the noise, a constant roar of Russian hollerings and thunderous guns, it was - so - awesome, wish you guys were there! Fingers all quivering...

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say... *ahem* "PORTAL RULES".... i know its hardly relevant (steam = orange box = portal i suppose) but its just so awesome (all be it a tad short.... okay a lot short). thats all, plz go about yur business as u were haha

I also believe that portal rules.
I really enjoyed my first play through, I've never been tempted to return to it though. I've heard portal 2 will have pie at the end. No lie.

Portal was fun to play but it had no replayablilty. And the cake thing was just annoying.

hey all you STEAMPunks and 360'ers ...crazy thing happened the other day while playing a newly bought and downloaded game off of STEAM (Warhammer 40K Dawn of War II). i started earning xbox 360 achievements! AND ...all i had to do was hit the 'home' key and it was like pressing the jewel key on a 360 remote--it would take me to an XBL menu. i was simultaneously signed on to my XBL account while STEAM'ing! don't know about the rest of you but this was the first i've seen or heard of it. i was able to access my friends list and chat with anyone on xbox. looked into it even more and wiki says Shadowland is the first game to have PC gamers play with/against 360'ers online. (crazy talk...i know!) ...we must keep our eyes on this fairly new development. an OMFG event with dual platforms will be win!

This better not be another one of those "only available to genji" features. Sounds cool though.
How long til 360 and PS3 owners can play together? I was being stupid, but that would actually be cool. Make it so that its always 360 players VS PS3 players in team games. The nerd rage over headsets would be epic.

@genji Yes I have been enjoying Dawn of War 2 as well. Even though this is my first real RTS game in god knows how long it is amazingly fun. We must fight together and fail sometime!

I play DoW2 also, usually 2v2 with a mate of mine, but if someone out here is actually good (not saying mate are l33t, but we at least want a chance of winning here) I'd love to get some 3v3s going.

I checked online at 10pm for some steam fun, first time gonna fire up a game all day.... and found Steam offline. It said would be back up at midnight. helloOOO 12:15 AND IT'S STILL NOT ONLINE! Arrrgh! A day with no games, is this hell?
