    Yes Hester can run by the CB's it's the catching of the ball that he seems to have problems with.

    And for the record upside down ryan, That IS his real picture.

    Why are you reading this? I have nothing to say to you.

    Haha.

    And isn't Hester going to be returning kicks and punts again this year? That'd probably take him out of the offense for a whole lot of snaps.

    I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

    you should just stop posting in this thread dude.

    when hester signed a huge contract last season it made him chicago's number 1 receiver. he will do punt returns only.

    little research dont kill, daniel manning is the returning guy both in punts and kickoffs, hester will see some action in the punt returning but not even in there will be all the punts, so no hester is our 1 receiver

    Notice I used a question mark. I was asking. I saw something to the effect of "Devin Hester will take majority of returns" at the bottom of the screen on NFL Network. And saw no related articles at the time on it.

    Keeping with the whole Bears WR issue, although I'm not sure this belongs here because none are legit fantasy players at this point, but how well are the recievers really responding to Cutler? I've heard reports that most recievers, aside from the rookie, have been playing quite well. Not living in the Bears market, I don't get to see the games, and statlines don't tell the whole story, so I really don't have a good guage. Are they playing well enough for me to warrant picking them as division champs? The WRs, and lack of consistancy from the D were my 2 biggest quibs with picking them. Should I rethink my
    pick? Or are they playing well as a unit?

    @fury week 1 matchup! squeeze gently and no warnings, just pull.

    @daniel i never agreed to handing out a 4th place trophy!

    @munn wasn't that 98 yard drive before halftime a beautiful thing to watch? even fortes goal line hop was fun to watch (nice to see his hammies holding up). kind of dissapointed about KJ so far. been hearing a lot about how he's bounced back and in his best shape since leaving detroit. so far we haven't seen anything "athletic" ...counting on him to be an excellent relief for forte!

    I have had it with these monkey fightin' snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!

    in the auto draft i got Cutler.... he better produce.. his fantasy stock keeps falling ....I also need Brian Westbrook and Steve Smith to stay fucking healthy this year.... I am good with Tennessee's defense but I gotta hope that Roddy White of Atlanta can have a decent year... if Smith and Westbrook don't produce,game over man... game over...

    @gerrad olsen / forte / and bennett will reap the benefits of cutlers cannon of an arm and ability to buy time and move around the pocket. the bears are and will always be a running team first but cutler will produce. maybe not numbers like manning or brees but he'll be up there. just my opinion though. i hope i'm right...and wrong!

    @daniel

    i had Hester last year.
    and i listened to the games. Orton couldn't pass the ball deep enough for Hester.
    so now with Cutler....who CAN....i think hester's just freaking out that the ball is getting there.
    give it a few games, the best usually find the stride.

    @uɐʎɹ
    you have sprint?
    last year they had the NFL network radio for free. where you get to listen to Any game. that part was awesome in making moves, especially when a player goes down in the 2nd quarter...pick up's at that time is key. addicts i tell ya....addicts!

    @genji, that drive was beautifull let me with the taste on the mouth, i want more cutler goodness not only halftime, pace was gettin owned by dummervile and the o-line didnt looked good, but was the first time this unit saw a 3-4 defense so is expected

    but cutler do things that few QB in the league can do, i still cant beliave the broncos traded him

    cant wait for the cheeseheads game

    @genji i never got in the KJ bandwagon, he is a mediocre RB at best, we have to find a better backup to FORTE, KJ is not the guy

    Reminder: First game of the season is Thursday. Be sure to set your lineups and make all transactions if you own anyone from the Steelers or Titans.

    A new season of American Football is upon us. Let us bask in this glorious moment for a second before we absolutely lose ourselves amongst family, friends, empty beer bottles, pizza stained carpets, and peanut shells. May our wives and girlfriends (or boyfriends if that's how you roll) never feel neglected and may our team jerseys we forcefully put onto the family pet stay clean.

    Good luck to all. Keep it clean and fair with just the right amount of trash. Just have fun!

    Yeah Jack, I am FDS. I have been kicking around your trade offer and looking at rosters to find a fair one, I just don't want Larry Johnson within 50 feet of my team.

    Boring?
    *sigh* I found the game to be a defensive masterpiece. Of course I like the low scoring games brought about by stellar defense rather than offensive ineptitude, but I'm probably the only one that enjoys throwback games.

    you cant blame me for wanting more excitement. im a bears fan so im used to seeing superior defenses and inept offenses season after season.
