Yup, cool pic. That photo kind of makes me wish her arms were amputated though. Not too often you'll get a "pro-amputation" movement, but I think most would support it, for just that picture of course.

I am obsolete. This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster.

This magazine sounds like it's going to be pretty unique. Checked out the blog on the MyMag site, and sounds like there's only going to be 5 pages of ads, and the rest will be articles. So far, so good.

The weird part is that 4/5 of the magazine will be articles from other magazines that Olivia has chosen as her favorites.
"The first four sections of MYMAG consist of articles selected by a celebrity editor from four different magazines."
.....
"The celebrity editor's fifth and final section consists of content they've personally created — offering readers a window into what's currently capturing their imagination."

So in about 3 weeks time I think we've gone from wondering how Olivia could possibly be doing her own monthly magazine, to getting 1/5 of a magazine in the end. Not that I'm complaining, heck I would have ordered it at thrice the price, just amused at our initial reactions, especially my own. Oh, and I still really wanted that football phone as well.

@briscojr That is interesting. Guess it''s how they were able to get the mag's out so soon. Makes since why she'll be on Fallon tuesday. Gives her a big audience to promote right before its launch. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turned out especially after reading this last tweet from Olivia.

@herb You can go back in the bushes for a little while longer.

They've updated the MyMag web site. The new release date for the magazine is Nov. 12, 2009.

It says there should be a preview available on their site on Nov. 1st (the originally listed release date). Presumably she's working on it some more whilst she's in New York, and maybe even had to leave earlier than planned to do so. I know she was definitely supposed to be on AOTS Tuesday, so that would explain why she was gone.

So, 11 more days of antici...pation folks.

Pre-ordered my copies of the magazine yesterday.

Plan to send the magazines to Olivia to get the magazines signed before she changes her mind about signing items from her fans.

I do not know if she ever will change her mind.

But with her ever busier schedule, increasing popularity, and ever growing back log of items to sign, Olivia may get to a point, in the future, where signing items for her fans may not longer be possible.

For example, she is quite popular now and she is backlogged. Now imagine the items fans will want her to sign by the time ComicCon 2010 comes around.
