The Twitter conference is coming to Los Angeles September 22 -23, 2009. With an amazing number of A-List people speaking and attending, this conference is sure to be THE social media conference to attend this year.

Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, Inc. will be the keynote speaker at 140: Twitter Conference LA, "Tapping into the Real Time Web".

This conference is a two day event with two tracks; a main track and a developers track. Celebrities and Geeks tweet up to discuss all things Twitter. If you are new to Twitter or not there is something for everyone including celebrity panels, business sessions and the latest killer apps.

Who will be speaking at this must-attend conference? To list just a few: Dr. Drew Pinsky, Tony Hawk, LeVar Burton, Guy Kawasaki, Veronica Belmont, Peter Shankman, Justine Ezarik, and many more.

    A sample of the sessions:

Twitter and Celebrity: A Match Made in Heaven? Featuring Dr. Drew Pinsky, LeVarBurton, Guy Kawasaki, Olivia Munn, and Mark Geragos.

Lunch panel: The Comedy Session featuring Tom Arnold and Jamie Kennedy

    Developer Showcase:

There will also be a dedicated space at The Twitter Conference to showcase some of the cool stuff being developed. If you’re going to be attending the conference, then you’ve got a room of cool developers showing off new applications to look forward to. If you’re promoting a launch or looking to generate buzz for an existing Twitter application, you should consider joining the Developer Showcase.

Should Jamie Kennedy and Tom Arnold be involved with the "comedy" panel?

Why are you reading this? I have nothing to say to you.

    @Daniel- nice one, brother!

@Minj- Yeah, that price tag caught me by surprise too. $300?!? Seriously??? That's more expensive than 3 Comicons and a TJ Donkey Show.

Any of you homos touch my stuff... I'll kill ya.

Yeah I could go listen to Tom Arnold and Jamie Kennedy make jokes about twitter, or I could SAVE money by staying home and buying a goddamn ps3 slim.

$300 for a ticket is bull carp. Couldn't you just pay someone who is going $100 to stream the whole thing online?

Eh the attendees will just tweet about whats going on. Kind of defeats the purpose of buying a ticket.

@belle is that all he uses?

I tried it once, it wasn't brilliant back then. Suppose Olivia Munn is fairly specific search term wise though...

and here I was thinking I'd have to spend $429 to hear people talk about Twitter. (and people complain Comic-Con tickets are too much?!)

I just looked through the list of speakers, and I'll admit there's a few cool ones listed (Hardwick is going to be there too), but does anyone have any idea what time this might all be going down? I've been searching since @awalker's post, and it's like they're trying to hide the information or something. The only itinerary I found was this for tomorrow:
    Ahmanson Auditorium
    7:30-9:00am: Breakfast, Sign-In, Networking
    12:30-2:00pm: Lunch Break
    5:30pm Sessions Conclude

So the panel could be between 9am-12:30pm or 2pm-5:30pm I'm assuming? A lot of time to invest for a few minutes of Olivia talking. Not saying I won't, but I could be doing so much else with my time... my Rubik's Cube isn't going to solve itself.

Just figured out if those are Pacific times, and Munn is hosting AOTS tomorrow, then she'd have to be giving her "speech" from 9am-12:30pm, but if she's not hosting Tuesday my theory goes kablooey.

I am obsolete. This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster.

LOL @Gerrad I somehow don't think Fred Willard will be using Twitter, so it's safe to look. And if all the celebs at the Twitter conference Tweet about Twitter during the Twitter conference, will that much meta implode the universe?

Look for David Lynch to make that film soon.

Unfortunately the speakers can only say what they want to with 140 letters or less.
