It's a no win situation. I assume she legitimately needed to get inside for the show, so that guy/security guard is just doing his job. Meanwhile she tries to sign a few autographs, and then the ones who don't get one are pissed. You can even hear someone at the end complaining.
Most of the time it seems like celebs have it made, but stuff like that would really get old fast.

Wow Dave-O, that is so specific I actually had to stop and think if it really happened. I was at Cici's Pizza, and some idiot did come up to me asking to sign a magazine, but you neglected to mention that you "ran into me" with your car, and I was bleeding and begging for help. Jerk!

In every video where Olivia's signing autographs or taking pictures for fans there's always a security guards or personal assistants trying to drag her away. I think she's awesome for trying to take time out for her fan but I know her handlers must pull their hair out evertime they see a group of fanboys with cameras & pic's.

And hey, if you think you're too good to be run over at a Cici's Pizza, you shouldn't be sitting in the booth by the front door.

They should know that having dozens of fans wanting to interact with the celebrities they "protect" comes with the job.
I can only imagine the security Oliva will need for ComicCon 2010. And I doubt it will be just one person.

@Dave-O Is that what I signed? I heard the paramedics saying stuff about DNR and asking if I was an organ donor, so I wasn't paying much attention. And I now want cheap, all-you-can-eat pizza. Damn it.
@Btab Just because you're not gonna rape Sandra Bullock doesn't mean someone else in the crowd isn't going to. Well, OK, it's probably a pretty safe bet actually that no one would want to, it's not still 1998, but the security people still have to be "on alert" all the time I guess.

Always interesting to see these videos, especially on which celebrities are friendly with fans and which are jerks and ignore the fans.

in those types of situations their jobs is to the person to their destination in a timely manner. fallon's show im sure has a schedule. but olivia was as gracious as she could have been with her time under the circumstances.
some security folks are asses. like em or not country music artists dont put with that crap. they tell their security not to push fans away.

i have to agree with some of the others... olivia was trying to be there for her fans but the security guard was just doing his job. Hell from what i see is that some other celebs just run off at the end she said bye. which i would take it as a " im sorry you couldnt get yo crap signed but take this pic real fast!" lol

Security doesn't know if Olivia wants to hang out or not, their job is to keep her safe. I mean look what happened to John Lennon. This was NYC after all. I don't think that was a security guard at all, that was one of her AOTS assistants helping organize her Playboy signings. Standing outside was totally fucking up the order he had. He was actually trying to help you all and you call him a twat. For shame.
