I was wondering why she wasn't on AOTS yesterday and on the promo for the next show, it mentioned a guest host. Now I know why. thanks Awalker for the link.
I just Olivia drives better in real life than in the video.
VVM posted a interview's with Olivia on their blog
The only VW I like is the scirocco (the old one the new ones are garbage) just saying. Actually based on what I see 90% of people who own VW's are females.
Minja - as a European I'm thrilled to hear wise words like that from an American!!!!

The guys of "Top Gear" seem to differ, they made the new Scirocco car of the year 2008.

@S0nntagskind I'm sure it's a fine car. I wasn't talking about performance as much as looks. It looks like garbage. It used to look mean but now it looks like every other car out there and looks far too fruity. I'm sorely disappointed with all the new VW's. I think it says something seriously, that almost every VW I see in LA has a female driver. I'm not even joking. It's like they market them to women in the U.S. or something. They just have no appeal for guys over here. There's not necessarily anything wrong with them they just don't seem very beefy. And it's a foreign car that isn't Japanese so it's only a tiny niche here.
The only german cars that are really sought after here are Mercedes and BMW.
@Minja: Yeah, I agree the shape is less edgy...but I kind of like it. I see why VW has a hard time selling cars in the US...and trust me you won't find any Hummers on our streets and besides Ford only few other american cars
There are some massive differences between the US and European car market. I think the the fuel prices play a major role in that.
@S0nntagskind Yeah I agree. Outside of this country I don't think there is a big demand for U.S. cars hahaha
@Minja: Lol, somehow I must have pissed off the universe, because just to proove my Hummer statement wrong it made me see one today...I mean I see the first Hummer on our streets in my 25 years, one day after I make a comment that "you won't find" them here.
Are you behind that?
But I think it's save to say, there are veeeeery few.
American cars just has a bad rep for breaking down in less then 3 years. Sadly, it's basically a true rep. I'm fortunate to have had my Dodge Durange still going strong, but my brother went through 3 Ford Taurus(in less then 5 years)..and two of them were new.
