I think I need to watch it again.

Lost =
anyone else get sad when Juliet... but then I was kinda happy at the end when she...Posted 10 months ago # -
@Jesse I was very sad, I loved Juliet.
Posted 10 months ago # -
well she basically saved herself by living for an extra while longer. its pretty crazy because you could only really guess where theyre going to go from there into the last season.
the only thing i think its pretty safe to say is that whether time is reset or not, their ties to each other and the island will not be severed..

I think they are all going to end up working at Hurley's chicken place.

Any of you homos touch my stuff... I'll kill ya.Posted 10 months ago # -
i think the smoky is ashton kutcher and in the series finale he will reveal himself, say "you just got punked" then everyone is going to kill him and eat his body.
either that or a dallas ending. haha!

Replied... even more spoilers included.
"Lost" finale has been scheduled for Sunday, May 23rd BTW. (they announced it last night on Kimmel)
OMG, please live up to the hype. Puhleaze.
I am obsolete. This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster.

This show is such a big buttfuck.

I thought the premiere was great. Just reminded me of how much I love Lost. Ben Linus is maybe one of the best TV characters ever.

Ben FTW! Michael Emerson does a great job.

Also anyone else notice all the actors from Deadwood that have appeared on this show over its run? Deadwood may be my favorite show of all time and last nights episode had another Deadwood cast mate, I think that makes 4.

Loved "Deadwood" in its day. One of the better written shows ever I think. I used to read the scripts after I'd watched it, and it read even better. Definitely disappointed it never had a true finale though. I think that final moment is crucial for a show, and often how you remember it by (I'm looking at you X-Files), and "Deadwood" just kind of ended with a meh.
And yes, Michael Emerson is a great actor. Nice to see Terry O'Quinn getting to play under-the-surface crazy as well. "Stepfather" flashbacks anyone?

I'm hoping to see a reappearance by Mr Ecko.

@Gerrad I've never seen deadwood that was that western/cowboy show on hbo/showtime right? Everyone says it was good but the western theme always turned me off. Maybe I should "acquire" episodes online and check it out.

@Minja - You would like Deadwood simply for the amount of gratuitous creative cursing they do in each episode.

Epic, epic use of language in Deadwood. It can't have been a coincidence that one of the main characters is named Swearengen (even though research shows he was a real person). And wait until he gets a load of Calamity Jane.
The whole look of the show is amazing too. Makes other Western's just seem wrong once you've watched Deadwood.

As Wu would say "Sweargen. Cocksucker!"
Why are you reading this? I have nothing to say to you.Posted 1 month ago # -
@Brisco - My dad loved Deadwood, and he generally doesn't like anything on TV. Before I had even glimpsed a single episode he told me it was "...a western with shitloads of cussing, but you have to watch it because the rest of the language is almost Shakespearean." Damned if dad wasn't right, like he always is.

If it's even 50% of Sammy J's level of colorful expletives I might dig it. My biggest issue will be the western jazz in the show.

@Minja You will run your cunt mouth at me
This really gives you a hint of the wonderful language of the show. Plus there's pigs that eat humans....Posted 1 month ago # -
About Lost though, what's with the fucking time travel?
Are the writers Lost?Posted 1 month ago # -
I think "Lost" are going out of their way to try to at least ground the time travel in real science. I'd be fine if there was just like a "magic portal" they stepped in, and suddenly were in another time period. It's sci-fi, we buy that sort of stuff all the time.
Plus, now it looks like we're dealing with not only time travel, but alternate dimensions as well. The show requires more homework after I've watched it to understand than any other show I've ever watched... but still it's so good that I actually do want to understand it all.

Doods! Now that I've watched it I can break the ring of ash that has been encircling this thread and join you all in commenting. Great episode! Lots of new questions raised, but totally loving it.
2 things I would have liked to see: When Desmond introduced himself (possibly for the first time) to Jack on the plane, as soon as he reached over to shake Jack's hand it would have been rad if he handed Jack a business card and said "Soap. I make and sell soap."
Then, when Sayid was drowned in the spring, it would've rocked all of our socks off if Fred Gwynn stepped out and proclaimed "Sometimes, dead is bettah"
Oh, and Benjamin Linus is a total jerk!
