@JessE - Minor point of order: Christian wasn't killed by Sawyer. They DID meet in a bar in Sydney, though, and their conversation convinced Sawyer to go back and kill the guy he thought was responsible for destroying his parents.

I thought Sawyer went back to the bar and shot him in the parking lot. Anyway I think Christian has been on the island before and the only way to get back without breaking the rules is if you die first which explains why Richard told Locke he has to die. Christian was probably told by Faraday's mom which plane would be flying through the islands coordinates. Knowing that Jack would probably use that flight to take his body to LA christian made sure that he died before the flight took place. Now Christian is alive on the island just like Locke.

Another thing, I was watching an ep called "One of us" about juliet's back story. Juliet's sister had cancer and ben said they could cure it and Jacob would take care of it. He also says no one has ever had cancer on the island but it turns out that Ben has a tumor in his spine. A result of Sayid shooting him when he was a kid? If so, then that means the events are happening the way they are suppose to.

Yet another great episode of Lost. Who knew from the first ep that it would end up here?
Posted 11 months ago # -
Well since the writers and producers didn't know...I don't think anyone could have figured it out.
Posted 11 months ago # -
^ So true.
Posted 11 months ago # -
I Think most of it was planned out. If not then thats a pretty big coincidence that it all fits together.
Posted 11 months ago # -
They probably had a general outline for the show, with specifics getting filled in along the way.
Posted 11 months ago # -
The specifics would be the random characters that don't matter...or do they?
Posted 11 months ago # -
i found it all very entertaining. after tonight i think that my guess that the black cloud is jacob is probably wrong, then mabye not. now the biggest question imo turns to the temple's origin...
Posted 11 months ago # -
You are probably right that its not Jacob since Ben said they have no name for it. As for the temple its probably at the center of the island. It had Egyptian hieroglyphics which makes me think of Atlantis since it was originally from that are so maybe it didn't sink and it just disappeared. But the writers may have used this to throw us off.

What if Jacob is Anubis.
Posted 11 months ago # -
My biggest question still is who the fuck Richard really is.
Posted 11 months ago # -
love how sawyer says "your buddy with the eyeliner"
I have had it with these monkey fightin' snakes on this Monday to Friday plane!Posted 11 months ago # -
Richard seems like he has been on the island the longest and maybe he is secretly Jacobs right hand man and he just keeps an eye on everyone.

Hmmm Egyptians wore eye liner...

That's the big question after tonight? How about who the F is that Bounty Hunter chick? The shadow of the statue??? WTF?!?!
Posted 11 months ago # -
Seems like the bounty hunter is an other.
Posted 11 months ago # -
They must have seen the foot of the statue and that was her way of saying what's on the other side, meaning they are gonna go over there and she asked Frank that thinking he has been on the island before and he would know.
Posted 11 months ago # -
@Jack she could be hired by Whitmore but it seems like she doesnt know much about the island.
Posted 11 months ago # -
Seemed like "what is in the shadow of the statue" or whatever she said was some sort of secret handshake type thing.
Posted 11 months ago # -
@Jack yeah like she was saying it to see if Frank was on her side. Maybe whitmore hid something there and she wants to find it.
Posted 11 months ago # -
This is interesting...
I'm still super lost though.
Frustrated, yet intrigued once again.Posted 11 months ago # -
Remember Libby? Wasn't she working for Whitmore?
Posted 11 months ago # -
I thought Libby gave Desmond the boat that got him stuck on the Island.
And she was in the mental asylum with Hugo.
Somehow I think some of these stories got dropped. Hence why I don't think they knew exactly what was going on for a few seasons there.

Lost is so fucken boring, I forced myself to watch almost 2 seasons of that crap 'cause everyone keept saying how good it was but it sucks so much!

"I Think most of it was planned out. If not then thats a pretty big coincidence that it all fits together. "
Jesse, the producers admitted that they didn't have it planned out and have also admitted that they thought something would go one way and then totally changed direction. And it's not a coincidence if everything fits together, because they can write it however they want and MAKE it fit together. "We need to explain why Desmond can change things in time but now no one else can? Uhhh, he's special!!"
And if you really look at the older episodes, certain things actually don't fit together that well. I highly doubt that the monster killed that pilot in..well, the pilot...because it was "judging" him. And due to the nature of the show, they can explain anything away "Well it killed him because the Island didn't want him".
(I spent a lot of time working on Lost, and sometimes I get annoyed when their lazy writing is confused for genius)

the first pilot's death can be explained by the fact that he wasnt suposed to be on the flight, frank was. perhaps not what they'd originally planned, but it fits with the monster's nature for setting things right as per the island.
i think theyve done a pretty good job tying things together ever since they seem to have set themselves on the time premise. especially coming off that dismal 3rd season start when i even stopped watching for a while.
they do seem to have a direction now, im really interested to see where it goes...
