@awalker I think I love you even more now.

I do some multi-player games, but unless I know who I'm playing with I always feel like I've wasted my time when I'm done. There's some kind of satisfaction I get from beating a challenging game that I just don't get from pointlessly killing online strangers.

And man, did you see Sessler? When he said it was the best he'd ever played he was almost hopping with glee.

I am obsolete. This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster.

@Chuwy18 You completely right man.With the new games coming out most people are starting to see just what the"The Emotion Engine" CPU is capable of.

Im really hoping that with all the PS3 sales that the gaming companys will start to stepup and start making more Ps3 exclusives.For the soul reason for really epic gaming.
Most gaming companys are two busy making games for all console so they can sell more units.
Which is fine. But myself ,and Im sure most of you would like to see the gaming companys start push the envolope and bring gaming to a whole "new" level which the PS3 is completely capitable of.
I think Uncharted 2 is just a scratch on the surface.

@briscojr Thanks I think. I,m going to have to check out the sesslar soapbox to see what he said. And I agree totally with what you said. I have a 360 and left 4 dead. I played it with my friend for awhile and it was cool but I got bored quickly with it. I'm playing Batman Arkham Asylum and its ducking amazing. Love the story & gameplay but most of all that they didn't try to shoe horn some have ass multi player game in it.

no 10 hour story mode.

if i wanted great story i'd play Final Fantasy...but that's only a 1 time play through.

@todosho You don't need to play street fighter online its 2 player just go over to your friends house and play it. That's the way I like to play 2 player or co op games any way. What good is playing Madden or Street fighter and kicking your friends ass if he's not there to let him have it. (throught the headset is weak sauce) I don't know about you but I play great games more then once. I can't tell you how may times I've played God of War 1 & 2 (more great single player games) just like I will with part 3

@todosho Why all the Ps3 hatered? You have your 360 and your happy with the muliti player games. I have my ps3 and i'm happy with my single player games. Is there something wrong with that?

because PS3 people say it's the greatest.

but its not.
you have to download a demo which takes forever.(forever=5-30mins)
then you have to Install it...which again..another Forever.

every game i've put in required a Patch. even a week after its release. again...more downloading and installing.

to play MGS, took 2 hours just to start to play the game.
at least Xbox gives you the choice to install a game into your system.

what's the use of having Free Wifi/internet connection...when there's no games worth playing on it? wouldn't it have been much easier to have that option out...making it a $199 system?

cause for $199, no internet connection..i'd agree, the PS3 system is the shit.
but $299, free internet with no games makes PS3 Shit.

Nowhere did I say anything about "Game of the Year" (which I could personally care less about anyway), and I certainly didn't make this an Xbox/PS3 debate. In fact, YOU did. I just mentioned that a well informed game critic just called this the greatest single player game ever, a fact I thought maybe a few people would want to know. You, maybe not so much.

You name a console game system, and I've owned it. I could care less whether it's an Atari/Coleco/Intellivision/Sears/3DO/Sega/Ninentdo/Neo Geo/Microsoft/Sony or PC game, ALL I care about is the game itself. Your narrow-minded attitude is going to keep you away from a lot of great games, because *shocker*, they're not all on the 360.

i'm at Blockbuster looking at the 1 rack of PS3 games.....nothing sticks out worth getting.
which is why i ask for help.
i've rented KZ2, which is fun
Resistance 2...garbage.
Batman for Joker which is alright.
LBP cool.
MGS4 flipped it. not worth playing again.
*infamous is never in, cause there's only 1 copy.

why say there's free wifi, when there's no games that are online worth playing?

You are over egajerating things way out of proportion with your X-Box fanboy soap box bashing spree. But really if you did your homework you would know the Ps3 IS a superior system hardware wise over all the other nex-gen consoles.And there are and will be games coming out that the other systems "will not" be able to play because of game data and pure
processing speed.

And there no reason to snap at Peaches. It`s ok to stand up for your beleaves and opinons but its just starting to sound foolish and really She is just saying what everyone is thinking.
You do know that Uncharted 2 has multiplayer..... Right?

How, i mean how, I mean how, can anyone with a xbox 360 ever complain about what the PS3 does when the red ring of death is out there? Their basicly selling live grenades to people. It may not go off on you now it may not go off on you tomorrow but it will go off.

You can complain about load times and patches and installs and wi fi but you can still play the games on the system. More then half employees that had a 360 red ring more then once (one right out of the box). I work in retail and i can tell you that over half our 360's are exchanged for red rings and now i hear about this e74 or e47 whatever.and mircosoft had to extend their warrenty.

I know 360 owners love to say that's the only negative about the system other then that it's great. Isn't that enough!!!

And this no game thing please tell me what game 360 has over ps3 Infamous. Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted 1& 2, Heavenly Sword Ratchet and Clank, God of War 3 .The only reason I keep my 360 is for Gears that's it. everything else is meh. (IMO)

This makes no since if you like the 360 then just play it and be happy who care if i like my ps3 more it's just a matter of opinon there is no wrong answer.

When I was a kid I had a NES and Super NES. My best friend next door had a Sega Master System and a Sega Genesis. Instead of getting caught up in the console wars, we just hung out and played each others games.

Moral of the story... there is no reason to get all dickish towards one system. Most popular consoles are going to have some good games on them. So go make friends with someone who has the opposing system, and take turns playing at each other's cribs.

Well, my bro and I have both now, I have no complaints at all. Never had a problem with the 360, and there are great games for both. Just like its been said before, its just a matter of opinion and preference (literally JUST got the PS3, bro just showed me the motion detection in the controller, how effing awesome is that?!).
