Ah Time Warner Cable. Dude you don't know how much I hate them. It was way better when Comcast was around. You're right though a HD G4 channel would be great. Lately other channels are going the HD route that weren't before so maybe this will happen eventually.

Funny thing though. I got Direct TV recently and was wondering why I couldn't catch AOTS at 7pm, only later to find out it was on at 4pm. I blame Time Warner for that too.

It's pretty cheap nowadays. $29.99 for 12months and a free HD DVR upgrade. Dunno know how long that will last. The DVR is a god send I tells ya.

When and or if you are thinking of upgrading Satellite, is the way to go. Just make sure they set the dish in the right place, otherwise you'll be watching the static show alot. lol. I swear its like they gave a monkey a wrench and said "Go bananas"

    I didn't mean that as a pun, I swear.

I have Cablevision, and I do have G4HD, the only thing in HD though is the Movies, I think I hear somewhere that all programs will go HD sometime by December...

yeah, i get the G4 on demand in HD, but they only show video game trailers. you would think that the show is in L.A. the people in the surrounding cities would get an HD feed. lol.

@Denison there already are HD video games.

As for AOTS I'm in LA and I watch it at 4pm if I'm home. I have directv otherwise I tivo it and watch it later on. The problem I have with HD is that it spoils you after watching HD seeing regular tv again totally blows.

@minja this is true, trying to watch 480p/i signals hurts my eyes after being exposed to 720 and 1080p.

i dont think G4 have HD cameras yet.
    cause it truly does blow.....
its more like HQ rather than HD, cause it doesnt fill up the screen

Sounds like how Comedy Central HD is right now, They launched earlier this year and not even their popular shows like The Daily Show or Colbert Report air in HD.

I'm on Verizon FIOS, no G4HD yet for me.

Every company is diffrent, I say by the end of Dec or the begining of 2010 it should be in full effect., I prefer HQ over HD anyday but that's just me...

@david Every time Cheaters is on I flip the channel, just to be honest I only watch AOTS, sometimes Xplay and Ninja Warroir, those are the only 3 shows I really like...

I have G4HD, and almost none of the shows are in HD. AOTS isn't and neither is Xplay. The only thing that is are some of the specials like G4 Undergroind and movies. I watch the show live on the East coast, and I admit that it could look better, but the quality isn't unbearable or anything.

true, but trying to watch on a 32 in hd tv is rough when i can only see it in 480i/p. if it was a, say...sony 56 in 120hz, id have no problem cuz the 480 is better than a my little tv 480. but yeah, it would be nice to see kevin and olivia and alison and blair in all their glory. lol.

I watch on my 42" 1080i or my 32" 1080P. Sure, I wish they would just man up and go HD seeing as though they already have a channel, but I guess the cameras for it are too expensive.

if they have E! in HD, then they can shell out HD cameras for AOTS. id rather see AOTS in HD than Tool Academy in HD. haha, the E! network needs to get on the damn ball.

I believe AT&T Uverse here in socal carries G4HD and live, meaning AOTS at 4pm here in the west. Thinkn of switching, not for G4, but because TW sucks horribly. No NFLTV is unacceptable.

@Rollie- that is true, we have AT&T. They carry G4HD, and the timeline is EST (for both HD and regular)
