Seriously? Maybe Olivia should autograph and send you a map you retard. Moonshine is the drink of Appalachia which doesn't go any further west than Mississippi. Pretty sure Whiskey is the preferred alcoholic drink of Oklahoma.

@almost6mexicans there hasn't been any southern state ive been to where they didn't have moonshine you idiot. and yes oklahoma is techinically considered to be part of the south. ive had moonshine in mississippi, lower tennessee (not in the apalachian mountains for you info) and florida. moonshine=homemade corn whiskey. did you learn something?

Sammy, I don't even know where to start with this one...First, Oklahoma isn't widely considered part of the South. While technically it is still thought of as 'northern texas' many would consider it a ''plain' state. It all depends on who you talk to, and since it sounds like you hang around hicks from all across the south, your opinion on the matter is jaded. Secondly, I never said anything about the Appalachian mountain range in my original post. And for your information, the Blue Ridge Mountains between N. Carolina and Tennessee are the highest points of the Appalachian Mountain Range. And you don't need to be in the mountains or on the hills to be in Appalachia, it is a region that surrounds the mountains which encompasses all of Tennessee. Additionally, I said that Mississippi was part of Appalachia so there would be moonshine there as a primary beverage. Finally, moonshine does not equal homemade corn whiskey. Moonshine is any distilled spirit made in an unlicensed still and can be found all over the world with primary ingredients ranging from corn to sugar to potatoes. Granted that in the US corn is the primary ingredient, but that is not true for other moonshine producing parts of the world. Please don't respond to this Sammy, we all know you are dumb and this is a good moment for you to fade away into the internet and maybe read a book or two.

    BurningChrome is right.It`s global.
I know for a fact theres tons of hicks in the sticks in the Central Northwest of Washington State that are still running stills and boot legging moonshine. In fact theres a thing called Barder Fair thats held on privite property twice a year where hippys sell all types and trade there wares. And yes, 200 proof burns all the way down.

having lived in the South my entire life, I can say with 100% confidence, that Oklahoma is not considered part of the south. Even in the Civil War Oklahoma was a territory of the Union. And moonshine is disgusting.
