   Awalker you and I agree that movie was "hot ass" and that is nothing but goodness! Remember when Wayans was warned to be careful with his expensive new robot suit and OF COURSE the next thing he does is fall over backwards and clang on the ground in it? LOL! You and me first in line for tickets to GI:Joe-2... baroness and scarlet were banging, that's all the rest of you need to know.

   Dave just load up Steamface and you're in, it doesn't matter if your computer stinks, or if you stink, cause you're not gonna be more clumsy and random with your game skills than me.

   I thought the movie was great except for a few qualms:

   1) I wish they would have introduced more of the Joes. I mean a couple of the main characters do even get named that I noticed. Who was the French guy? Do they say?

   2) Cobra commander's mask is horrible! Reminded me of those "invisible man" anatomy models they used to sell at toy stores.

   3) Destro's accent kinda made me not take him as seriously as I could have...

   4) Was one of the instructors Brendan Fraser? I sat through the credits and didn't see him anywhere. Drove me nuts...

   Yes, it was Brendan Fraser. At first, I was not sure, but after a few more minutes, I knew it had to be him. I also did not see him in the credits.

   Based on the hat he was wearing, he my be the "Flint" character since that character wears a similar hat.

   I liked the movie, despite the its differences compared to the cartoon.

   They obviously set themselves up for more movies.

   Thanks for the info. He just seemed to look more like Flint than Gung Ho.

   Pretty sure we will more of him in the next movie.

   I have to agree with @awalker. The movie sucked. The acting was horrible, there were too many unnecessary special effects, corny dialogue and worst of all the background and history of all of the major characters to the point where it almost no longer made any sense.

   The only good part of the film was the fight scenes between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow.

   Soooo I watched GI Joe this morning... it was pretty bad, though honestly I expected it to be so much worse. I am not sating that it was good or even that I liked it, I am just saying I expected it to be worse.

   The bad- the story was crap
   The CGI was goofy at best
   the stuntwork was terrible

   The good
   Sienna Miller was the only thing I liked about the movie.

    Stephen Sommers man... he actually thinks that's GOOD CG, I mean look at his movies, Van Helsing, The Mummy series (look 1 was okay but it went downhill quick) the CG is ridiculous in all of them.

    I had more problems with the Iron Man super suits running through the streets and over cars.

    Plus Snake Eyes apparrently can run up a moving/flipping car while on the roof of another.

    My favorite was CGI'ing Scarlett on the motorcycle, I mean for God's sake do that practical....

    @Mattjsour that was my fave part also Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow.-ray park is the effing man!!

    @awalker i know the worst were when baroness grabbed the case & grabbed on to Storm Shadow- & when Duke was in the suit getting hit my the car...

    @RedEyedJedi I am for ever in-love wif Baroness I love women wif long dark hair wif glasses & she also kicked some ass which added +10000 point to her sexiness

    but overall next time i see it i'm gonna take a few shots & just enjoy the ladies once more

    @Gerrad That's exactly what I was thinking when I saw the CG motorcycle.chase scene. Why waste money doing it in CG when you could have easily done a practical chase scene. The ironman foot chase has to rank as one of the worst effects sequence ever shot. I've seen playstation 1 graphics that looked more realistic then that.

    I thought it was good movie for shutting off your brain and just looking at the pretty colors/ladies. Going into the movie I was planning on taking the whole thing as a joke, and I have to say that made it a much better film. It was just fun to laugh at. xD

    I saw it finally, and I have to say, I liked it! People that go to movies expecting fullfuilling and intelligent drama and moving story points, go read a book! You expect too much from an 80's toy movie!!!!!! The cartoon was the shit growing up, and everybody expected it to be as good. Reality check, it NEVER is!!!!! (The comic was WAAY better than the cartoon anyways.) I thought it was mind numbing, and lacked here and there, but overall, it was good. Hell, it's #1 this weekend, and a sequel has been greenlit. (Confirmed today!) With the way it ended. The sequel could be better! 3 out of 5!

    channing tatum is by far the worst actor everrrrrrr. it sounded like he sped through his lines the whole movie. this movie was horrible. and of course they greenlit the sequel, thats what happens when a billion 10 year olds wana see a crappy movie. and black eyed peas for end credit music. WTF!?!?
    REALLY?!?! ...ill give it this, snake eyes and destro looked good, cobra commander SOUNDED okay. boobs were a plus.

    Exactly! The cartoon was essentially a half hour commercial! The "plot" was usually resolved in that time span, so why complain. I mean, at least the movie has actual deaths. How many times in the cartoon was there lasers flying everywhere? Dozens. How many hit anyone? Little to none. If you really need to see something Joe related with substance either read the comic or watch GI Joe Resolute. Now THAT cartoon kicks ass!

    They took the Eiffel Tower scene straight out of Twisted Metal 2 on Playstation.

    I don't care if Brendan Fraser thinks he was Gung Ho or not. He looked like Flint, so he was Flint.
