Rule #1: Sensitivity
Do not make topics or posts for the sole purpose of degrading other forum users, fans, private citizens, people that you personally, don't like, religions, sexual preference, ethnicities or cultures. As everyone knows, my sense of humor borders on offensive, so these forums are not going to be hypocritical to that. But there is room for misunderstandings and questions and our Moderators are here to determine that. If it is determined that your topic or post is in violation, then proper action will be taken against you. But, for the most part, if it's something I would find funny, it stays.
Rule #2: Inappropriate Material
Language: Do not post graphic language that describes sexual activity...unless you're doing it to be funny or to ask a sex advice-type question. For example I don't want to read all the graphic details of what you want to do to me. That has happened in the past, as you have read, and I never finish reading the comment, so let's keep that stuff off. Also, our language filter is in place to block any particular words that you are not permitted to use on these forums. If the filter blocked you, then please respect that. ANY attempt to circumvent the word filter is a violation of the rules. But, really, there's a lot you can say. Like cunt. Cunt is a very descriptive word that carries a lot of emotion. We should use it a lot.
Images/Media: Do not directly post anything that depicts nudity (genitalia & women's nipples), sexual activity, or excessively violent images or gore on OliviaMunn.com forum space.... but feel free to send them to me first at olivia@oliviamunn.com. Because I love that stuff!! But, seriously, send it to me first, and then I'll see if it's okay to post. Like Britney's saggy vagina pictures back in the day... that would have definitely made it in.
Links: If there is something that falls within the "inappropriate" category that you wish to post for the purpose of your topic, then you may post it IN LINK FORM WITH A PROPER "18+" WARNING NEXT TO THE LINK. (We stress next to the link. The thread's title is not good enough.)
IMPORTANT: Using a quote to repost material from a post that violates the rules, is a violation of the rules in itself. DON'T DO IT.
Rule #3: Illegal Activities
Do not make posts that solicit or promote illegal activities. This not only includes things like criminal activity, but violations of copyright law (posting of CD Keys, hack requests, sites with illegal ROM downloads, etc.) Objective discussion of them is fine, but should a conversation veer away from that, it will be dealt with.
Rule #4: Flaming
You are not to use these forums to publically harass, insult, or libel your fellow members. There will be a certain amount of insult trading over the course of arguments. It happens from time to time and it is tolerable. However, it becomes unacceptable when that turns into consistent public griefing. At that point, it becomes a serious matter, Moderators step in, and your membership will be re-evaluated. But with that being said, I also feel it's okay to have this as a place for you to all talk, get to know each other and debate. But, you're smart, you know what's okay and what's not. Don't be petty and post about someone's grammar or stupid shit like that. I know it's fun to write, it's not fun to read.
Rule #5: Spam
Keep your spam off our forums. Spam disrupts the flow of the forum and makes everyone's experience on the forums frustrating.
We consider "spam" to be:
-Posts or topics that are excessive in quantity. (A post or topic only needs to be made ONCE and in ONE FORUM.)
-Posts that lack any discernable topic.
-Any posts made simply to raise your post count.
-Advertisements for a commercial site or product. (This includes those referral link schemes that promise you free stuff.)
-Repeated posts of a certain theme that "parody" a previous post or topic.
-Posts designed to break the forum's tables.
-Posts with excessive or oversized images. (Moderator's discretion based on how disruptive.)
I HATE spam. Anyone who does it will be immediately banned.
Rule #6: Not a Democracy
When you are logged in, you are a guest on these forums. As a result, you need to take the following into consideration:
-We have Moderators who are instructed to enforce the rules. Arbitrary bannings do not occur. However, OliviaMunn.com does reserve the right to ban any member without warning, reason, or justification. You have no legal recourse towards what happens with your account.
- OliviaMunn.com reserves the right to alter or delete any post, member name, signature file, image or related content on its boards at any time, without notification. You will adhere to OliviaMunn.com's standards on these things or you will lose the privileges.
-If you are suspended or banned as the result of an infraction, you ARE NOT permitted to make a return with a new or alternate account. If you do, subsequent time will be added to your initial suspension or it will be made permanent.
Rule #7:
If you bash me, Olivia Munn, I will ban you. That does not mean, if you debate a topic or post with me. It means when you deliberately say mean, hateful, disparaging things about me. Usually it's because you want attention from the other forum users. If you do this, you are banned for eternity. That's it. Also, it's a gift to you. Because if you hate me so much, you shouldn't be on the site. And also, I want to encourage everyone here to IGNORE any posters who say something negative about me to gain attention. I really appreciate the support, but with my moderators and myself, we'll take off the negative people, leaving us with only rainbows and unicorns.
