Big tiesto fan, i actually got to see him when he came through el paso. Check out out DJ Rap, Heavygrinder if any one wants some good drum and bass. Also got to myspace and check out DJ Dozer from Dallas Texas, he spins some mean trance

its all noise to me ... if it doesn't have people playing REAL instruments I'm not interested.

Since I'm from and live in the birthplace of techno(the mighty motor city) I have a name to put out there. Riche Hawtin(plastikman). I highly recommend going to a EMF. DEMF and WEMF are the best ones. Never been to WEMF but been to DEMF for the last 5 years. If u go "Rolling" is the best way to experience this wonderful art.

I know how you feel, most people don't apreciate the music and label you and your music as "gay". Or they just dont understand it. You know what all noise to me? Fuckin heavy metal screamo rock music, that and country music. At least electronica actually takes some production skill as well as a very high knowledge in music theory, for good songs.

Hey daft punk is coming out with a new album Im super duper excited haha

so are you telling me that Rock and country music don't take any production skills ? no knowledge of musical theory ? it completely warps my mind that you think that electronic ' music ' is theoretically complex. please explain it to me cause I am lost on that.

I'm going to school for music production and to get it good, yeah it takes a lot of working on (and it has to be good in the start of course--if you start out with a turd, no matter what you do with it, in the end it will still be a turd lol)

and you can have your favorite music, but you have to admit that about 5% of every genre is done extremely well, if you like it or not.

rock/heavy metal stuff has tons of production in it. there's so many ways to mic up guitars and drums, it takes hours to get the perfect sound, not to mention the many, many mics to choose from.
Then you got your EQing, effects, automation, oh man. don't get me started lol.
What i'm saying is, a lot of production/mixing/editing and all that goes along with every genre.

And about that new Daft Punk album? I can't wait!

Some of the best times I've ever had have been working with bands and DJ's. It's SO much fun. NO matter how much bullshit you get thrown at you ...it's a blast. Enjoy !

The only thing I listen to that's even remotely electronic is PlayRadioPlay! That's about it.

And to all you folks that were going on about what's "good music" and what isn't, much like the Tooth Fairy, there is no such thing as "good music"........and there never will be. Good music is an opinion, not a fact dammit. Oh.....look at the time..........bye....
