Does anyone think Playboy limited Olivia's pictorial in their magazine due to her opting to be non-nude? I mean, come on. She's on the cover and only has one picture in the mag.

Olivia, what gives?

In all honesty I feel they were disappointed they couldn't get a picture with "tasteful" nudity. So they cut the pictorial down to a page. They were probably banking on getting some of Munn's pretty privates on paper to sell more magazines to help their bottom line. Probably hoping Munn could be their very own "stimulus package."

@ MoeV, you are 100% right . Playboy's sales are in the shitter. I mean this is a double month issue, Playboy NEVER had double month issues.

I don't think the point for Playboy was to really feature her in a spread, just for an attention grab on the cover to get people to look at what they offer on a regular basis. "Tasteful" Nudity as it were would take away from Playboys (albeit dwindling) core audiance.

I think it works in the aspect that Olivia gets some great press, and so does Playboy, which is really what they are looking for. More pics of Olivia in the mag also prolly meant a higher page count and thus page rate, which they didn't really need for this purpose.

Still I hope one day that some of Munn's shoots are collected into a pictoral book.

Honestly, I think they could do without the interview of Alec Baldwin a few pages before her spread and just do more pictures of her. I mean, they only had a whopping one paragraph about Olivia. Bullshit. However, they waste about 6 pages with a comic unrelated to anything playboy. Maybe if someone sat down in the meetings instead of have sex with the bunnies they might realize that their article to nude girl ratio sucks thus making it more of a boring and unappealing magazine, when porn is free on the internet, why bother paying $7 for a magazine that only has a few pictures and some interviews with B and C list actors. OMG! Shia Lebutt was on last month's interview! It was compelling, best $7 bucks I've ever spend.

However, being the hypocrite I am, I will try and get my copy signed by Olivia at Comic-Con so I can frame it and love it forever and ever....

+1... well for most of it.... they sure could have gone more into an interview with her... as well as the rest of the photos that are online... but I'm sure times are tough for PB as well and they most likely got a good chunk of $$$$ to promote Baldwin...

either way my $7 well spent, hopefully it'll get it's self signed one day

@NinjaSquirrel - That America will face trouble in the future and how Obama is changing Democrazy, Earth needs our help, Space is not the final frontier and about how no matter what, humans will away find a way to survive because we are parasite like beings able to feed and thrive off any planet we are on Also, something about how America is a vulnerable country and some other garbage about virtual sex and something or another. Basically, unless you are interested in seeing Olivia, there is no other reason to buy this issue.

I am assuming the subscription sales are where they made their most money, as for buying off the shelves, I can imagine it wasn't as popular for anyone who wasn't a fan of Olivia, so in terms of sales, I assume it was pretty fair.

As far as the space topic, it was about how there are life out there and there are other galaxy and bla bla bla.

The problem is that many of Olivia's fans (including myself) purchased the magazine to see a pics of her nude or not. 1 cover and 1 two page picture seems like a ripoff.

Plus the 15 pics on the website are incredible. I don't see why they couldn't give the girl who's selling the issue at least 2 more pages of pics! Other than if Playboy was steamed about not getting her nude.

It's been reported Playboy may be filing for bankruptcy soon. I guess all the "bunnies" will have to opt for actual porn now.

i was really suprised by only the one picture too.. kinda disappointed by that.. se deserves more. but she got the cover and thats big. plus she/other sites posted all the other pics too. to me, mags like playboy are becoming dated cus its just pictures.. and u can just get them, plus more, for free online without the mag
