They were back today. Talked a lot about Austin, but just showed stuff from the Fantastic Fest Awards. Said there would be more from Fantastic Fest tomorrow.

My guess, one of the group photos we all took might appear.

I am obsolete. This must be what old people feel like. And Blockbuster.

    @Peaches
    Probably around Dec time.
I'm working on alot of genres, so i've been working with this band Tha'ts like rock/blues and with my hip hop type vibe it'll be sick.
Plus i have to re record everything in a real legit studio now that i have access to free studio time.

But yea my goal to have atleast one song for everybody on the album, except radical conservative country lovers lol

@Kid Heru Whatchoo think of trip-hoppish house music? I've got a music project that I mess around with, and while I have no recording equipment now, once I get some more I'd love to make a song for you to put lyrics to, eh? eh?

    thats my site.
If you want to hear something along the lines of the sound i'm talking about, check out "M-900" and "The Brass Guns" on the In a House, Surrounded EP, and "Matinuska-Susitna" on the Demo Album. Kinda the more moody stuff.

Well, I had to be the greedy one and get just one more encounter with Kevin and Olivia. I knew they were going to be at the Awards ceremony on Monday night, so when I kind of lost my window to leave Monday morning I just decided to hang in Austin for another half day. I also knew this was work for them, so it wasn't like the OMFG meet-up, and I'm really hoping they were as cool with me being there as they seemed.

As I waited there I saw the most surreal thing... Uwe Boll was walking around the parking lot, in a shirt that said "Uwe Boll" on the back, and he was limping really badly. No idea what that was about. Maybe someone finally beat the crap out of him? If people knew who he was (and it was a film savvy crowd, plus he's wearing a shirt with his name on it!) they absolutely could have cared less. I almost felt sorry for the guy for a second, but then I remembered "House of the Dead" and "BloodRayne" and that went away quickly.

    Outside the theater:

They started seating people for the Awards way before Kevin and Olivia showed up. What had been a few hundred people were just a handful by the time they finally arrived. There was an AOTS crew with them, including the camera guy from the day before, and Vince Ruth, the exec producer. We talked a little bit about the meet-up the day before, and Olivia and I formed a bond now that we both know what Alan Thicke tastes like. Something I wish I had explained was that my camera didn't work that day, so I asked if I could get some photos before they went in. They said sure, but dang I wish I'd told them that... otherwise it's like, "Hi, you just posed for a thousand photos yesterday, now I want some more."

Anyway, Vince was nice enough to take a couple for me, and this one just makes me all kinds of happy:

Goes without saying Olivia looked incredible, but Kevin's outfit was sweet, and I got them to sign the FantasticFest t-shirt I was wearing. Also, Kevin and I might not have been wearing pants... you'll never know.

Got to see them shoot the footage in the lobby of the theater that they showed on AOTS today. Apart from making my fan-boy heart happy, it was also really interesting to see Olivia own the situation. I don't pretend to know anything about TV production, and they were working with a small crew as well, but sure seemed to me like she put on the director's hat. She was setting up the shots, calling the zooms and angles, and counting them in to the scenes. Kevin was full of energy, and I think they were just winging most of that stuff. If you saw the bit today where he was holding a beer stein, and Olivia said, "I don't have one." his reply didn't end with him saying, "not my problem." Glad they couldn't air his full response because those of us watching cracked up, and I'm sure the microphone would have picked up our laughter.

Some high fives, hugs, and then they had to get inside. I said to Kevin I hoped to see him at Comic-Con and he said, "if I'm still employed by then." He was joking, but I said without him there'd be no G4, and he gave me a really genuine thanks. Couldn't think of a better way to have to say goodbye.

Apart from not asking Olivia one intelligent question the whole time, it was just about everything I could have hoped for. I already thought Kevin was a B.A.M.F. before I ever met him, and he didn't disappoint. He's clearly the funniest guy in every room he's in, but he manages to do it without being all showy. The guy's just all win.

And I know a lot of you had already been able to meet Olivia, so I'll just echo what's been said before. She's everything you hope she'll be and more. Smart, sexy, funny, dirty, caring... show me another celeb that's going to go around and make sure everyone got a picture and gives everyone a hug before they leave. I wish I had a re-do for every second I spoke with her, because my brain was running late the entire time. I've been star-struck before, but man, not like this. I could speak to Kevin fine, yet it took me 30 minutes just to say hi to Olivia.

I hope her and Kevin actually had fun at the meet-up, because they definitely worked hard to make sure that we did.

And with that said, I promise no more obnoxiously long comments about this from me. Will try and get some more videos edited when I get time.

First off, looks like everybody that went had a memorable time. Congrats to everybody who was able to go and have face time with Olivia and Kevin.

Secondly, I hate every single one of you and no longer think of you as my online friends. That is unless you have signed memorabilia for me. In that case, I love you.

But in all seriousness, I'm glad you guys had an enjoyable and fun time. It seems like Olivia constantly outdoes herself.

Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the next meet up. *crosses fingers and hopes for Syracuse* And hopefully we can have as much fun as you guys did.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Hey Brisco I typed a long response and my internet fkd up and it didnt go through so here it goes agian.

I know exactly how you feel I'm glad you had the chance to meet them twice and if anyone deserved it you did.
It's like what you said, when you first meet them your acting on just the moment and nerves really, and your mind isnt really up to par and isn't really taking in everything. Like i wish i can remember what it felt like to pick her up with her in my arms and everything but i was on autopilot and didnt really get a chance to really take in the moment.
But Olivia's been the most beautiful girl in my book for years now, and for her to say i'm good looking and mean it, is like, it doesn't matter what other people say cause i've heard from the best in my book.
I'm not obsessed with her or anything I just like who she is as a person and shes damn hot. Even if she wasn't famous and grew up in my neighborhood i'd still think she'd be the most beautiful chick in the world. So of course i'd be in her fan club.

But hopefully i can see her again, either by chance of meeting after my music takes off or another meetup, and then i can be more of my carefree funny self.
and i hope when i make it to t.v and all that jazz ya'll and her can be like "Yo! There's Kid Heru!" Ha that'd be dope.
But hey if you type a long post it's all good. If your going to express yourself anywhere do it here. with ya buds

Thanks @Kid, and I really appreciate anyone who took the time to read all that. It was pompous and self-important, but I knew it was pompous and self-important if that makes it any better.

@Kid Have you thought about Comic-Con in San Diego next July? Looks like that will be the next big meet-up, unless something else comes around. Bound to be 500 people clamoring for her attention instead of 50, but the OMFG is going to be strongly represented.

    @SethDavidAndrew

I like the music i'm into that style, just if i was to sing or rap it'd have to be a a bit faster like atleast 80 bpms. If you can come up with something around 95-125 bpms you got yourself a deal!

Ha damn, you're so lucky, i haven't been on this in ages. I just decided to swing by here again today and was like, "This thread is STILL going?" lol "I've just been busy with school and music. I have many new tracks but they are still being finalized. I've been meeting a lot of new musicians and an artist that's doing the cover to the album entitled "Inner Space Voyage".
Sorry i don't have any to show you guys tonight but hopefully this week, though i do have finals and all of that junk. It's nice to talk to you guys again.
