Member1 cup all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 cup milk
(You can use self-rising flour and omit the
baking powder and salt.)
Fruit - your choice - peaches, cherries, etc.
Mix all ingredients and pour into a
greased deep dish pie pan or whatever
dish is about 2 quarts and ovenproof.
Pour sweetened fruit of your choice
over this batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45
minutes.
Batter will, in cooking, rise and cover
