Member@BC i'm gonna get lightning bolts behind each of my ears (cus i'm a weather weenie), strength written in cambodian script on the back of my neck, a dragon on my right foot (cus i'm being cliche and always wanted one lol), and i want a huge tree on my left ribs, taking up my whole side with a little owl sitting in it. those are pending ideas at the moment lol
@Gerrad i actually really really want a full back tattoo! i love sleeves too but since my future job frowns upon any noticeable ink, that won't be an option

MemberI am all for young hot women like Nat getting tats but the problem is you turn into old, flabby armed lady with tats. Although you're asian so you've got a good 40 or 50 years before you lose hotness.

@luscious lou the black star was the first one. i love stars like any girl does and for some reason thought it'd be a great starter tattoo. i kind of hate it now, but i'm hoping to get it partially covered by the tree i want. the second one was the lotus on my back. got it b/c i'm buddhist and the ohm symbol means a lot to me. the next one was the sparrow. got it as a representation of my freedom from my crazy asian parents when i got to college. and the dandelions came last. it represents the three stages of life to me and it's in memory of my childhood. decided to get it b/c it finally hit me that i'm an adult when i went to jail last year lol.
@CAnerd it would include all my favorite dishes that my mum makes-eggrolls, fried rice, steam cakes, beef sticks, beef and mushroom stir fry, and a nice cold blue moon beer

Member@luscious my parents are super conservative about that stuff, especially on women, but my mom was surprisingly calm about it. she didn't see that i had any until after i had gotten the second one done (which was about a year later), and she actually said she liked the lotus, but shouldn't have gotten the star. my dad has only seen the one on my back, i think that's the only one he thinks i have but when he saw it (2 years after the first one) we were at a party and all he could do was slap me really really hard on my back where the tattoo is. he's never said anything since then lol.
