There is a storage room filled with boxes of Playboys. And it’s been very hard to get through all of them and write a personal note to each of you. BUT I have new metallic markers that don’t smear, someone to hand me the magazines, and commercial breaks to sign them in. My goal: Sign all Plaboys by next Tuesday! Goal Set!!!
I created a magazine called HEY OLIVIA that was made 100% with you, the fans, in mind. I hope you like the shoot and spread (gonna be at least 15-page spread).
I’m going through the last selection of the pics now and then we’re done with it and goin to print!!!
I know everyone is wondering where their Playboy is that you sent in to me to sign… There are so many boxes and it takes about an hour per box to go through and sort and sign. As you all know, I’ve got a lot going on and it’s hard to find time. BUT that is no excuse when you spent your money to support me and buy the magazine. So, last week I started having producers bring two boxes to the set during every show. So during commercial breaks, instead of practicing awesome breakdance moves and teaching dyslexic kids to read, I’m signing Playboys.
I was offered the “signature stamp” which I WON’T do. It takes long because I put everyone’s name on it, sign a little message and sign my name. If you see most signatures on magazines or pictures, it’s just the signature. I’m trying to personalize each one, which takes time.
But, you guys tell me and I’ll do whatever you want:
If you haven’t signed up for OMFG, the Olivia Munn Fan Group, you should do it now!
I’ve finished my first book titled “Suck it Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek”. It’s like a David Sedaris-style book with funny stories from my life- from how I got my first agent (which ended in me staring at his girlfriend’s vagina) to my love of pie to my 8th grade boyfriend who had turrets.
I’m doing something special with the publisher for all OMFG people. So, sign up now so you’re not left out!
I’ve been give the opportunity to make my own magazine. It’ll be titled Hey Olivia and be available to buy very soon. I’ll of course make sure you have all the details when it’s time.
The best part of creating my own magazine? I can create the entire photoshoot myself. Whenever I’ve done covers, I read all of your comments, and I agree that I don’t always look like myself. Or they put too much makeup on me. Or the cover isn’t always the best picture.
But now, I art directed the entire shoot. And I had only one thing in mind: What would the fans love?.
Here’s the first sneak peek. Hopefully I’m close to the mark…
