It had Romance, Comedy a little Action but just fucking great.
Do you ever find yourself glad to hear about a bad film that is rejected by the public and loses big? I’m glad to hear Sorority Row failed harder than its distributors probably imagined. It’s just as good as seeing a great movie succeed.

Basterds was my favorite film of the year. Sorority Row was okay for a slasher. And May God never make me have to watch All About Steve!
these tyler perry films are comparable to the nazis in that you cant believe so many people would actually support them because they are so absolutely ridiculous in every manner and the only way to stop it is its absolute destruction.

For a split second I thought that movie poster said “Pastor Marlon Wayans” for the cast. Now that is a movie I would go see!
Have you kids ever seen a Tyler Perry movie with Madea though?? I do like these movies, becuase they do portray a great story and all…though I do agree that they are pretty much the same thing. But I do like them for the comedy that the character Madea brings…she’s hilarious!!
I wish Tyler Perry would just go away. I hate his movies….sorry dude Eddie Murphy already did it. Get an original idea.

Best film this year so far is “Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel” a BBC film.But it won’t make a fraction of what those films made.

Sorority Row as a fun slasher. I loved it! I wish it would have scored higher at the BO. Oh, well, people would rather see some lame Tyler Perry crap.
9 got beat by a Tyler Perry movie? Sad.
Apparently the Tyler Perry movies are now like the saw series…repeating the exact same elements in every film of the series and still drawing in crowds
Visually 9 was wonderful, great character and element design. The story was kind of rough. You could feel that it was an extended piece of a shorter film because it felt like they filled scenes. The sad part is there was tons of natural story there in the characters, but they didn’t seem to want to tell anyones story but 9, despite having obvious character development oppertunities.
Also I know Tyler Perry movies aren’t marketed at me, I just don’t get the appeal though. How this dude keeps churning out hits is beyond me.

I heard good things about Inglorious Basterds. I think I’ll see that next, the others don’t seem interesting enough.
