Billy Mays, awesome spokesman of everything you’d ever want, died last night in his sleep.
He was only 50.
I had just posted this picture… I guess Vince Shlomi has more work now.

I’m gonna miss Billy Mays, I loved seeing him on T.V. yelling at me to buy something. Billy Mays truly made info-mercials what they were. Bye bye Billy, I’ll miss you yelling at me to buy Oxy Clean.

I’m more sad about him dying than MJ. Hey, Billy Mays had MUCH more of an impact on my life than MJ did. Billy made me laugh. Can’t say the same for Mr. Jackson…. the tribute to him on your guys’ show today made me tear up, not gonna lie. I always liked Vince better, but Billy was the undisputed king of infomercials and he was taken from us way too soon. R.I.P Billy - Heaven is gonna be squeaky fucking clean with you and all your cleaning products up there.
I started watching Pitchmen recently, and found out that Billy was a very funny, likable guy. His son was really enthralled with his dad and pleased to direct him in his own first commercial (for his Uncle’s restaurant)- and Billy has an adorable 1 1/2 yr. old blond girl that is so sweet.
I feel really bad for his family- he seemed like a great guy to be around regardless of his unique pitch style that made him famous.
Some of the products might be crappy, but others truly worked- he knew his stuff!
Really, much more upset over Billy Mays than Michael Jackson.
This is really a shocker……the world has lost one of it’s brightest stars…….

Well, I hope Discovery Channel runs a Pitchmen marathon tomorrow or sometime soon so we won’t forget him. Honestly, I’d give Billy Mays my life just so he could live on. No offense to Ed, Michael, and Farrah, but Billy has done more to help get this economy going again than the other three.
