How did you end up on G4 doing Attack of the Show?

OLIVIA MUNN: My agent called me to go in for the Attack of the Show audition,I went in and read with a casting director. Then, they had me come back and read foranother show, Formula D. Then I came back to do a screen test with Kevin Pereira on set. I actually didn’t know I would be testing with him on set with lights and all that. So much so that I wasn’t wearing a bra or any makeup. Maybe that’s what got me the job.

What was your first day like?

OLIVIA MUNN: I wasn’t sure what to expect. I hadn’t watched the show before so I didn’t know what to think. The host I was replacing was there that day, but she didn’t really say anything to me — I think she was really sad that day. The first time I actually said anything to her was on set during her goodbye. If you watch back, you can see how awkward it was. She started crying and I didn’t know what to do, so I just put my hand on her back to comfort her. Looking back that was a bad decision on the producers part. They should’ve given her a proper goodbye without me sitting there next to her.

The most you ever fucked up on air?

OLIVIA MUNN: McHammer was probably the biggest fuck up. But, the show is so much fun and casual and we don’t judge each other harshly at all. So when it happened I just thought it was hilarious. I actually didn’t know how much attention it would end up getting. The next day a friend of mine forwarded me all these links to sites that posted it. I still laugh everytime I see it.

What’s the most you ever got censored on G4?

OLIVIA MUNN: I really only curse when I’m scared and my go-to is “Shit!” They usually miss it and bleep the word after “shit.” But, I don’t get censored that much. G4 is actually pretty cool about stuff compared to other networks.

What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do on the show?

OLIVIA MUNN: That’s a hard question — probably flying a WW II fighter jet and then having to dogfight with my co-host in the sky! I was so cool about it before we took off, then as soon as we got in the sky and my hands were on the controls I freaked out! If you hear the audio from that flight you actually hear me saying the douchiest thing I’ve ever said, “The Gs!!! The fucking Gs!!!” Referring the the G-Force… I could feel it going from head to toe and back. I can’t believe I actually screamed that.

Have you ever caught Kevin with a boner?

OLIVIA MUNN: Actually, yes. We were in Amsterdam coming out of the Pannakuken, Pancake House, and I looked down and there it was. I asked him what the hell happened, and he said he had no idea why it was awake. I guess he really loves pancakes.

How long does hair and makeup take?

OLIVIA MUNN: I have makeup and hair working at the same time, so it’s an hour. I am most often on my computer- blogging, surfing the internet or working on other projects.

What exactly is the show attacking? And what is its weapon?

OLIVIA MUNN: I hear the show just came from one of our writers when they were all thinking of a new title. But, now when we go shoot, producers will usually be like, “Let’s just attack it.” We’d be like, “So what are we doing at this location?” And instead of planning it out, they’ll be like, “We’re just gonna attack it” That means, Kevinand I go in and try todo something cool.
